If we are to go by the names of the positions MINORITY LEADER, I don't think PDP should have a say in that because PDP does not have the least number of members in the house. What of parties like SDP and YPP that have 1 or 2 members, the posts belong to them.

The reality is that PDP cannot unilaterally decide on the issues of minority principal officers for all other minority parties.

“After all, PDP is just one party out of the multiple minority parties in the House,” Adefisoys said.

The arrogance of PDP still won’t allow the party to get this point

Majority of pdp reps members want elumelu while wadata plaza wants chinda.can you now get it?

I understand your point, but the most salient point is that the PDP ignored other minority parties, and unilaterally sent in name from PDP headquarters, meanwhile other PDP members that opposed to that met with the other parties and appoint their own officers.

come to think of it, PDP have always been an apostle of let members appoint their officers themselves, why they are acting against what they are preaching, is that not hypocrisy?

If APC could take the seat for been the majority, i see no reason why PDP shouldn't take the minority principal officer for been the party with the highest number of minority.

It was ultimately an period of plagued with several challenges due to the development.
