Contact your bank. If you don't have their number or mail check their official website. They will send you a reactivation form which you are to fill and scan back to them via E-mail, possibly with some documents like your passport and I.D card, but this should be based on their request anyways. That should be a step in the right direction. They will guide you on what next to do. Please make sure it's the official bank contact number or mail to avoid stories. But how do you intend operating the account outside naija? |

You need a signed request letter, a valid ID card (any if voters card ,National ID, Int'l passport, driver license) and ur BVN, Google your bank's customer care email and mail it to them. It will get the needed attention. |

(1) Is e-mail indemnity in-place? Most 9jerians travel without signing the e-mail indemnity form, it gives banks comfort to treat your instructions via e-mail. If yes, just send a mail to the bank stating that you have signed the e-mail indemnity form before travelling. I assure u, the request will be treated. (2) If no, contact the bank's customer care via mail to send you the latest reactivation form, and ask for other details required to reactivate. Valid ID and notarized utility bill are required in some banks. |

Sarang:Download the form, or I send you via mail, Print out. Fill (also attach a passport photo on the mandate card) Include a copy of your international passport If you have a drivers license with your house address written on it, fine.(we use that as ur utility bill, or your bank statement there too can serve as this) Include a copy of your permit. Scan everything in colour. No need to notarize any document. But mind you, a PND restriction will be placed on the account since there is no BVN on the account. If you live in a country(14 of them for now outside naija) where BVN can be done, you can go and do the BVN anytime you like, then we link when you provide it. Goodluck. |
