Femi Fani Kayode took to twitter and asked the PDP presidential candidate in the 2019 general election in person Atiku of his position on RUGA settlement.

I have 3 questions for @atiku, the man who I believe won the 2019 presidential election.

1. What is your position on RUGA?

2. Why have you not said one word about it?

3. What is your position on the threat and 30-day ultimatum made by Arewa youths against southerners?

an hour latter Atiku through his twitter handle gave a swift and interesting answer that has attracted applauds from well meaning Nigerians.

below is Atiku's response on his position on RUGA settlement.



My position on Ruga is the same as articulated by the Governors elected under the banner of my party, the PDP. My position has been well iterated by our Governors & the PDP is one. I will not dignify that threat with a response. There is no North or South. There is just Nigeria.

Atiku is a great politician, he played safe and that's a great and safe way a politician should respond considering the fact that he's from the north and would one day seek their support.

He and buhari are cattle rearers and will approach the matter the same way. He even said it during the Kadaria interview that the "Anti grazing laws" of Benue etc will be revisited.

Atiku craftily dodged the question.

This is not a partisan issue. Fulani are not killing PDP and sparing APC, and they are not sparing PDP to kill APC. It is an ethnic issue, not a party issue.

Atiku refused to answer what FFK asked and hid behind partyline. If he gave a straight answer he would either offend macban and please Nigerians, or please macban and offend Nigerians.

Again, Southerners that clapped for Atiku above me failed. You are all very impressionable and easily f00led.

ANSWER

RUGA has come to stay, I'm only waiting for normalcy to return to the country so i can reintroduce it in another language. 30-day ultimatum ! They don't know what they are saying.
