I'm using umidigi one pro with 4gig ram, and 10k contacts everything runs smoothly except on occasions when I have inflows of new contacts and give away rush, it's either your phone has a poor ram management or they lied about the actual ram size and again you have to tell your viewers to exclude you from viewing their status, that is the pain in the ass, solves 80% of the problem

The way out I think is to get a flagship phone from the Samsung note 9 and other phones with SD 855, apple a12 bionic, latest Kirin processor. Maybe, just maybe this night be be the solution. I think this is not a phone issue, rather an app issue due to frequency of chats and status upload by his contacts.

The fact that you xiaomites don't know this is a transission propaganda amazes me.
I warned these tecno, infinix and itel premature markets years ago when they were murmuring about xiaomi being illplaced and unequipped enough to handle the Nigeria market and made all sorts of nefarious claims about how xiaomi can't sell the same price online if they come into the Nigeria market officially.

Fastforward to now, transission has lost not only her fiddle minded patriots, even the technologically misinformed patronizers of these poorly assembled devices have gone the xiaomi way.

The result of a frustrating transission marketers is what you see now.
Anything xiaomi can't handle, can a transission device handle it? Yet a deluded individual is preferring to sink with transission as the solution to an ambiguous unverifiable deductions at best about a xiaomi redmi note 7 pro equipment with a gen soc of a powerhouse as high as sd 675.

It's been a pleasure using this brand for the past 3years, from xiaomi 4a to 5plus to note 7 pro.

But it seems the Note7pro can't handle my WhatsApp! The main reason why I bough a 6gig ram phone.

The WhatsApp lags like hell..like fvck...like hell.

And it's becoming more annoying.

Someone should suggest a good phone that can handle WHATSAPP of 6000+ contacts!

Redmi note 7 pro have one of the best mid-range camera. A true 48mp Sony camera,not to talk of when it is used with Gcam. The A70 camera does not even come halfway to be honest. The camera review are not nice. The problem with the optical fingerprint of the Samsung a70 even after 2 updates.

the Samsung is GG3 front and plastic back

If you want better performance don't buy a mid-range phone and come here and be making noise
Buy a flagship
And don't judge a brand based on just the device you use
Theres k20 pro/ Mi 9T pro or flagship galaxies ,Huawei flagship phones and iPhones from 7 upward

The lag issues has nothing to do with your phone it's just the OS. 2-3 weeks after I get a Mi phone I just port to a custom ROM and to say Violet has a lot of cool ROMS under it's belt

This is more or less a WhatsApp problem.. my telegram that is loaded with so many channels, lemme don't mention the number of messages I get daily, works smoothly.. meanwhile put on data connection, open WhatsApp and my phone freezes because of WhatsApp.. Getting a flagship phone will probably solve your problem though.. it doesn't really matter what brand once you reach flagship level. But you need to understand it is WhatsApp problem
