Lagos is a country entirely inside a country..wink

we should be careful with reclaiming lands...lest one day, the sea will turn to reclaim what is hers.

What is considered normal in a USA, UK, etc is what is luxury in Nigeria? Are we cursed?.

This thing is suppose to be cheap and be like normal societies in Nigeria

that means 24/7 power supply..

It's worth it if the funds and cabs is there I think.
Banana Island doesn't have 24/7 power supply, don't be deceived

I hope they won’t turn it to another banana island and meaningless upscale whatever with no focus and direction. I would prefer a different tag than just the most expensive place to live in Lagos.

my point exactly bro!! My take is all these unnecessary islands would eventually cause havoc someway somehow and only the less privileged/destitute will suffer for it, this same Lagos state has lots of these artificial islands abandoned like periwinkle island and so on all these projects are unnecessary if an average family can’t afford to live there so why would the government keep looking out for the Elites ignoring the destitutes and the struggling man! Most major roads on the mainland are flooded but they would turn a blind eye to that until they are being called out or it claims lives and destroy properties I hope we get to the time when an average citizen can afford and maintain a car which is a necessity!!

If at the interest of national security, Its welcomed. If such land mass will bring to an halt farmers and herdsmen conflict, Its so much welcomed.

Over hyped, overrated slum... Nigerians are quickly bought over by mediocre and below par projects. I have seen better stuff. You all have to get out of that sh.t hole of a country to see what great projects look like. A lot is happening on the other side and they are never blown out of proportion like this overrated bullshit. I am not impressed. On the contrary, I am underwhelmed. undecided

So Banana Island will soon become old school?
Na wa o.
It still doesn’t change a fact: Lagos is the most expensive slum in the world .
Expensive slum that Igbos prefer to die there than go back to Alaigbo.

If only igbos can sit down together and use our brains, we can do something like this in Alaigbo. But no, Igbos prefer hunting other Igbos like wild animals.

Just come from abroad and enter SE, you have become an endangered specie.

There is no farmers herdsmen conflict. Why are we too hypocritical to say the truth once buhari is involved. What we have is criminal trespass on farmers properties by fulani invaders. Did the farmers take their plants to the fulanis towns? If I come to rob you because am hungry, will the police advise some part of your food be shared with me to stop me from robbing you?
This is a criminal act which Buhari is the head criminal.

It is owned by Tinubu and his Lebanese business partner Chagoury. By the time it is completed they will be some of the richest men in the world.
