But he doesn’t look Yoruba. I’ve seen plenty of people that are Edo and Yoruba, so I know how one would look.

Esan boy scores 2 goals, gets an assist, bags man of the match
Mehn I know you really want to derail this thread

You are not making sense. Odion's mother is a Yoruba woman. Either Odion looks like his father or his mother, that is not my business. What exactly does Edo look like? Like Oshiomole? or Ighalo? What does Yoruba look like? Like Obasanjo? or Wizkid? Many of you on this forum have no ability to think using even basic logic.

Pls pls....let's talk about what we have seen him play in the Afcon so far. How has his 'youtube' performance helped in this competition...from what you have seen him play in this competition, do you call him a footballer?

When you have a player with Onuachu's talent, your wingers must be very good crossers and inswingers, Onuachu presents a good chance for super Eagles to start utilizing their corners and freekicks, which they are hitherto very clueless about.

Get 5 good crosses into the 18 yard box, Onuachu will get to it 3 times and possibly get a goal or two. That's what his stats say.

He is the 2nd highest goal scorer in the Danish super league.

Messi is also a good player when he has his head on straight. Unlike a few days ago against Brazil, when he could not connect a single pass.

Yes Messi is not just good bt a great player bt he has a game connection problem with his national teammates. Probably style of play. He can’t do it all everytime.

This is the first I’m hearing that his Mom is Yoruba. During World Cup last year no one was bringing up him having a supposedly “Yoruba” mom

100% Esan

Some people can’t let go of their hate and bitterness for other tribes, especially when the tribe is in Edo state grin grin

The commentator never said such. I listen to the commentary attentively. Tell us what minute he said such. Onuachu is lanky and very dangerous on a good day.

His 5 minutes cameo appearance in this game cannot define him. His goals are usually more technical than Ighalo's scrappy goals. Give him time to play more like Ighalo, then we'll take stocks.

I'm still not confident in Ighalo, I have never seen him take on 2 defenders and hit the target like proper strikers do.

BTW Mikel 'backpass slowObi' is now officially surplus to requirement, we are eagerly waiting to hear his retirement speech.
Uncle, that Onuachu is minus 1 simple!
Which one is on a good day again?
Which day can be gooder than a nations cup round of 16 match?
That guy is a wack striker!
Ighalo is way way way ahead of him.

Guy what if I tell you I am from Delta, will that make you feel a little less defensive and more reasonable? I am telling you what I know. Yes, Ighalo is from Edo state. And his mother is a Yoruba woman. This is not hear say. This is what I know as a fact. You don't know his family but you are here making noise up and down like a clown.

From Aina to Musa to Ighalo.. From Yoruba Christian to Hausa Fulani Muslim(herdsmen) to an Igbo Christian.. It's a goal for NIGERIA. No matter how politicians tries to divide us, we will always be NIGERIANS. Congratulations to all Nigerian PATRIOTS. God bless great NIGERIA.

Atiku people how market? cheesy
You carry politics reach this side abi..

Rohr needs to listen to take note of the ff:

Musa should come on as sun in 60+ minute to run the opposition ragged..

Onachu should not near this team, but Onyekuru Henri

Ighalo should not play full match..

We should stop playing long balls.

I'm kinda supporting South Africa to win their match though.

We'll be equally matched with them if we meet. Against Egypt, I don't trust our GK, except that we have Ighalo to threaten them at the other end.
