A cigarette business would be quite lucrative since a lot of people like to smoke and cigarette is addictive. I don't really know much about the business. I suggest he starts a fun centre which consists of a gaming spot(PlayStation), viewing room for football matches and a spot for charging a large number of people's phones. Location is very key and the building and services must be quality.

In addition to all these, he can add a cybercafé. With hard work, good planning and time and money management, he would be rolling in steady profits. That's my suggestion but what do I know.

If you work in finance Toronto is your best option. However, you have to take into account the average house price in Toronto is $1 million dollars.

Some of the countries have GDP per capita higher than certain prominent Western Countries including the US, UK, France, etc meaning that life is like to be better for the common man in those places than in the western countries I just mentioned and more.

if that do not work then try bahamas.....(why....once you get your passport as a bahamian it is free visa to canada.....and the money you have would be okay for you over there.....you could also decide to stay back in the bahams and start life there....there are so many nigerians living and working in the bahamas.........


but overall....the best country to live in is the united states...i live there.....but i would advice you to go to bahamas or canada for now.

The 4m naira is just about 11k dollars. That is
small change in Western countries. Why not invest the money here and over time it grows. You can then afford to travel to Canada, Dubai or anywhere else for leisure, rather than to be just menial worker or even a criminal with all the risks involved. Someone told me that on his first trip abroad to London he saw a security guard in front of a shop and upon a closer look he discovered he was a lecturer he knew at a nigerian university, who left his job to seek so- called greener pastures abroad like OP is planning!

Will they listen to you? I will read down, I am sure I will find people bashing you. Plenty lecturers with PhD are doing security job in UK. I have stopped advising people not to travel, especially on nairaland.

About six people I know, from different states in Nigeria, they don't know each other even in Nigeria and Canada, all made it in Canada. Canada is a land of oporturnity.
