Forget what was reported as the reason for the jump. In Malaysia, once you are caught with drugs, it's a death sentence. And those on death roll are usually subjected to the worst form of "death before death" torture.

Almost all the Nigerians in Malaysia are drug dealers. So, they prefer not to be arrested.

Nobody will prefer to die than being deported.
