Inasmuch as updating your CV and searching for another job is important, just maybe, it's time for you to be your own boss.

Don't underestimate the power of parents. You should work on attractive flyers which you can get across to parents of your former pupils, neighbors, etc and plead to take their kids on private lessons.

That maybe the beginning of your turning point. It's well, Artkat762.

Gosh! Many thanks. Those are deep words of encouragement you left for me there. I'll look into the flyer thing. Em..how much on the average does it cost to get something like that done? Cos I won't lie, I'm kinda clueless about that.

Most welcome . You can do something with your system (get attractive images online, and attach to your write ups) or still, a friend who is so good with graphics can help sort it out. Printing wouldn't cost that much. With less than N3000, you should have over 50-100 flyers for a start..

I had someone do one for me around January or so when I was interested in making extra cash through lesson. The problem now was, instead of kids applying, I had adults asking for adult classes .. I pick race oo, though I finally settled for an SS1 boy I took in Mathematics, and the pay was very nice ..

P.S: Try making it creative, with fun images of kids learning on it.

Hmmn..Sounds like an idea I should try. Should be able to raise 3k in the coming week. I'll definitely do my best in searching for a good graphics artist too cos you're absolutely right. Good images would be more enticing and appealing to the eyes.
