Good morning mamas. Its been a while. Motherhood is a wonderful experience but taking care of a baby alone without assistance has not been easy for me. As i speak i'm on admission in the hospital. Im so stressed!

I remember asking mamas here for help when my baby had something like burns on his head and frontalle too. I thought he was reacting to the eucalyptus oil that was mixed with his oil. I took him to the hospital and a friendly paedatrician attended to us. She said its cradle cap. That cradle caps feeds on oil. She said i should stop using oil on his hair that shea butter should be applied on his hair. She also said we should buy a cradle cap shampoo which is very scarce here. Few weeks later i noticed the cradle cap on his eyebrow. I took him to the private hospital i use here and the doctor gave me skineal, is skineal good for a 4 month old skin? He also gave him zinc, he said i should break the zinc into two. Is zinc okay for a 4 month old baby?

My baby poops 2ce or 3ce daily since lastweek. (yellow with seeds). Not too watery (like paste). It doesnt sink in is diaper. I took him to d hospital and the doctor said its okay. I told him i bottle feed him, he said no matter how clean i am, feeding bottles and bacteria are like twins. He gave him one antibiotics and ors. I dont know if its okay to poop 2ce or 3ce in a day.

My baby has been sucking one breast o. The second one stresses him so much.
If i press it, milk will come out but when he sucks he'll cry. I was told the milk will be sour if he doesnt suck the other breast for days but according to a paed on ask d paeditrician group, she said its not true. How true is this please?

Are you sure you are not making it too thick? cos that's what my daughter take now with SMA gold. I make it normal, not too thick and not too watery and she drinks a lot of water, so far so good her poopoo is okay.

No need to be worried, it is partly hereditary. My son had his at 9m+. Some have none at 1year. Teeth will come.

don't make it too thick and give her LOTS of water. i used nutribom for my son and didn't have any difficulty with pooping

When we had cradle cap it was grey and flakey like big dandruff not looking like burn at all. Also oiling, combing and washing hair properly are the antidote so I'm surprised to hear that oil causes it. Also surprised that you need special shampoo. Usually soak/massage the hair in oil for some minutes before bathing, then comb out the flakes. Then wash properly while bathing and oil the hair. Do this at every bath and the cradle cap usually goes.

For pooing, I don't know much about bottle feeding but 2-3 poops a day sounds okay to me. I'm sure those that know better will comment. People have been using bottle for time immemorial even though we all know it's more prone to germs. Even ebf we still use bottle so I don't think it's such a big deal so long as you're washing properly and sterilizing.

Baby should suck from both breasts or one will be bigger than the other. Keep insisting. Offer that particular breast till your lo and even you get used to it.

Yellow pasty poop is good shows baby is breastfeeding well. Gently Combing Flakes out after applying oil made cradle cap disappear in my son's hair. Please do not compare babies. All babies are different. So that you will not die of heartache. If you feel that your baby is not reaching the appropriate milestone, see a paed. Teething from 0-1 year. Some cut teeth as early as 3 months while some after 1yr sef. God is our strength. One mama here suggested that we put baby in creche or have someone take care of baby once in a while so that we can do other things or even rest. Please let us always rest anytime we can. Wishing Rbae and all mothers here who are strong quick recovery.

Rbae, the pediatrician could be right because same thing happened with my baby's head, I noticed his scalp looks dry and burnt the more I apply oil, what I do is apply oil to loosen it just before bath time, and after washing, I don't apply anything at all, within 2-3 days it clears off completely, and I don't wash or oil his hair thereafter until after a week before I start applying little oil. I guess cradle cap are of differ types. I don't use any special shampoo though. It appeared on his cheeks, I use cacatin and rising raven powder.
Mine poos 2ce if he's too full but not every day and his poo not sinking may be because of the diaper.
I didn't feel comfortable using his bottle nip for feeding, I used spoon instead, but that requires patience especially for a 4months old(same time I introduced spoon feeding for my DS)
Continue to put him to that breast, hopefully he'd Start sucking more from it.
