Former Head of State, General Abdusalami Abubakar paid Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde a courtesy visit today. General Abubakar was in Ibadan to attend an inaugural lecture at the University of Ibadan. General Abubakar spoke about his affiliation with Ibadan which he considers home. His first post as an army officer in 1967, was at 2 Division, Nigerian Army in Ibadan. He was also the Chairperson of the University of Ibadan endowment fund for four years.
