TOPCRUISE:
Onyekeru is a striker and not a winger. Opting to remove chukwueze is out of place. Ighalo ought to be substituted in place of Onyekeru but it's like the coach is clueless.
he operate in a 4-3-3 formation and from the left side wing. A sensible coach would have bring in Simon Moses for musa. Musa didn't make a single dribble thru out the game. He was just running like a rabbit. He should use his speed to be chasing squirrel inside Kano forest

I said it here last week and a NLander called me names. This coach is the poorest we have had in recent times. Game reading zero. Tactics zero. Substitution zero.

Removing Chukwueze for Henry is laughable and painful simultaneously.

Chukwueze was tired

Iwobi has always been less than average.
We need to raise a petition to European clubs and FIFA to ban Iwobi, Ighalo, and that foolish goalkeeper from football before they cause death of more masses. They have nothing to do in any football pitch angry angry

Listen up folks, chukwuezes sub killed this game.

If you noticed, the Algerians were always tag teaming on him everytime he had the ball. We already had the momentum, got the Algerians defending, which finally led to the goal. Then in response, you take out your hit man, neutralised the threat, freed up and extra Algerian player, who thinks onyekuru wouldn't be much of a threat. The outcome, we were outplayed from that their confidence level grew which later led to the goal. My opinion.

As for the goalkeeper, I SMH
that one na basket jare, but I'm happy that we were beated

that's why I said our coach is average

Looking lost

Didn't know what to do
An average coach would've read the game proper at 20 mins and then adjust things to match the opponents superior tactical play. Instead, he elected to leave things the way they're and hope for a miracle.

The result was that we looked like school boys running around the pitch aimlessly. Iwobi is yet to convince me in that #10 position. Samson siasia is technically sound and should takeover from Rohr. Rohr is below average tho.

Suggest one indigenous coach that could be better. Amapakabo is the team's assistant coach, what has he brought on board? Poor decisions by players and bad goalkeeper cost us. On them spiritual side of things, our nation is covered by a cloud of darkness and misfortune, whether anyone believes it or not. So much blood in the land and the evil government don't care. How we even came this far is what beats me. I talk not like a mere man.
Dhortunn:
Sack Rohr. Employ an indigenous coach. One who understands and has passion for his job. Communication with his footballers on the field of play will be topnotch.

Someone who will see himself as a Nigerian before anything.
Imagine the morale a good Nigerian coach would have brought to the table tonight.

Do you still want to argue? I believe you watched the match tonight and saw what happened.

Well i know you will blame it on performance as usual. yeah I agree our performance tonight was lackadaisical, the Algerians played better than us. But there was a bit of ill luck on our side with that nasty deflection... (green jersey jinx)

Now look back at the tournament and you will see its the same old story.... We lost the two times we put on the Green Jersey. First against Madagascar & now against Algeria. & we won all the games in which we wore white....... Sad.

Cc: Safarigirl

So you'll blame our poor showing tonight on a dark green jersey instead the coach? Stop believing crap.

So out of every team in the world its only Nigeria that kit color affects. Really?

I've told you the day Nigeria will play Afghanistan national team with the dark green jersey and lose, then I'll believe you.

Or better still play Brazil with our first choice kit and maintaining the winning record.

The coach should exit from Egypt after the third place match.
Very dull game since inception.
Poor selections.
Poor defence, poor goalkeeper and poor stricker.

And Ighalo the opportunist spent 90mins toothless and biteless! Yet you left him. The best you could do was remove Chukwueze leaving poor Ighalo when it was obvious that the only striking option against Algeria in the match was not existing at all

Why all these blames? Our Jersey, or the coach or the players or the formation?.

Algeria was simply the better side. They showed quality today & all through their previous games.

We tried our best. Better luck to us next time.

Congrats Algeria.

Ighalo has nothing to do in football, talk more of as a striker!!

Iwobi, sighs....a disgrace to Okocha!!

The goalkeeper needs to be jailed at Kirikiri as soon as he returns back to Nigeria; wished we are in the era of military regime, would have tipped the power brokers to jail that useless goalkeeper....very useless angry angry

Rohr is another nut case.....why substitute Chukwueze for that foolish sprayed hair fool

Musa is okay but he needs support.....and for those 2 Albino at our center backs, they need to be deported back to which ever country they strolled in from angry angry

That GoalKeeper Is Not Good Enough for My Village Teams...
You dont Force Yourself To Play Football, Its A God Given Talent...

Poor Distribution, Not Being Able To come Off his Line and Collect Set Pieces, Cannot Position His Defenders....

What The Do Rohr See in That Mofo That Ply' His Trade In South Africa?

Simple poor defending led to this. SE were defending like it was a friendly you'll see Musa or Iwobi jogging when the player is attacking with the ball. Then the defence will open ass leaving enough space. A better team won't allow Algeria a bit closer. Imagine just to clear the ball they lost possession then Mahrez capitalise. This Rohr is just chopping free money why ex Chuckuwueze when Musa was extremely tired and had nothing to offer. Nigeria just like Arsenal but the even the guns won't mark like this when it seconds left to extra time.

The most distinct lapse in Nigeria team since the start of AFCON is our defense. Poor defending in all our matches. We are so lucky to reach the semis.
