Well said.

Netflix has dramatized the Central Park Five saga in a miniseries called When They See Us. After the miniseries went viral, the racist lawyer in the middle of the whole injustice was subsequently dropped by her publishers (she's a renowned novelist), and also forced to resign from the boards of multiple charity foundations she co-chaired. Who says karma is not real?

I'm not sure any karma can match a jail term. They literally steal the best years of your life. Imagine getting shut away for 10 years.

Mr Wick, you kill a man with a book, and still went on to arrange same book on the shelf.

That book's life will never be the same!

Let me go and continue....

No reputable publication company will ever publish her books again. For a literature titan, there's no greater punishment than having no publisher willing to associate with your new ideas. She has become something of a pariah in the literature world.

In homage to Before The Devil Knows You're Dead starring Philip Seymour Hoffman of blessed memory, and Ethan Hawke, here are some other_fucked-up films that are bound to_fuck you up mentally.

- The Deer Hunter: gets crueler and harder to watch
- American History X: forget about the devil, humans are the real monsters.
- What's Eating Gilbert Grape: Shed a tear ngl. Teenage DiCaprio performance was prophetic - even then, you could see that he has a bright future in Hollywood. Young Depp also impressed in what has got to be his most normal role to date.
- We Need to Talk About Kevin: Tilda Swinton finally convinced me she's a top actress with this highly disturbing movie.
- Hotel Rwanda: Mankind's capacity for evil is limitless.
- Dear Zachary: Technically a documentary. What made it more depressing than all the others in the list is the fact that it actually happened. It saddened and enraged me like no other.
- Se7en: Didn't shake me as an adult, but as a teen, it gave me nightmares for a few days. Parents in the house, don't let your kids watch movies like this for their own good.
- The Boy in The Striped Pajamas: Damn! Fuck_Nazi Germany.
- Schindlers’s list: Knowing that it actually happened and not just a screenplay is a tad humbling. Fuck_Nazi Germany
- The Mist: What a bitch_of an ending. Way better than the book.
- Oldboy: the korean version
- The Green Mile: So_fucked-up, so unfair.
- Machester by the Sea: Deserved every Oscars it won. So compelling and so heartbreaking. Phenomenal.
- Event Horizon: Fuck_that movie.
- Hereditary: What every psychological horror should be like.
- Trainspotting: equal parts disturbing and depressing
- Seven Psychopath: Dark humorous, and self aware.
- Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri: Ditto, but lineared, and compelling.

I suspected the old doctor right from the start, wasn't very thrilled to be proven right in the end (I wanted to be surprised), but it was an entertaining watch nonetheless.

I recommend you watch other Agatha Christie's adaptations, namely Witness to The Prosecution and Ordeal by Innocence. They are not as good as ATTWN, but are good mysteries characterized by red herrings and plot twists.

It wasn't the old doctor, buddy.... Perhaps you're mistaken?

Thanks for the recommendations, will see. cool

Lolz, I know how you feel. It makes you feel like a witness to something you ought not to witness in the first place, you know, like a fly on a torture chamber wall or something. You want to reach out and warn them of the impending danger, but you're helpless. My only gripe was the ending, it ended so inconclusively.
The ending is not inconclusive.

Spoiler alert-

The young boy has become possessed with that demon spirit. The spirit was looking for a host, a strong male or female who it can occupy to operate. What the coven did was gradually eliminate all the opposition, especially the mother. When he jumped out of the window and that light entered him, he became possessed of the dark spirit. This is why the coven members bowed to him because he is now carrying the spirit of their satanic Lord.

The boy's grandma was a priestess, so before she died she 'donated' her grandkids for use. Recall at the beginning the light tried to trick the boy's sister to the tree house where the coven members had set up their altar. If the girl had gone up, they would have initiated her. When the girl was killed they turned their attention to the boy. Unfortunately the mother gave them an entry way into her home by dabbling into the occultic, and from there the thing started pursuing the boy.

Dog wasn't killed, it was wearing a kevlar vest. The man that shot it even acknowledged this by telling Sofia it was a warning shot, implying that next one will be fatal if Sofia doesn't surrender her dog to him, and Sofia not willing to part with one of her dogs had no other option than to go berserk.

She was concerned like any mother would be if a kevlar wearing child of hers get shot at. Her concern was purely instinctive.

How would feel if someone kick your dog without any provocation? You will be pissed, right? I know I'll_fuck the asshole up if I can get away with it.

If John Wick could go on a killing spree because of a mere dog and car, you better believe someone cut from the same cloth could feel slighted at having her dog get shot at, kevlar wearing or not.

It is a clever film, but perhaps too clever for it's own good? I enjoyed it more or less, but it's not something I'd see myself watching again, at least, not for a while.

Why not watch it and form your own opinion? The fan meter in RT is pretty high as opposed to RT official score (which is also very high btw). Fans critic website, IMDb, also approved of it.

Should have seen the way he looked at me because I called the rabbit over pampered bushmeat cry
