If you as a man cannot eat 3 square meals daily, it's risky to get married. You may end up sharing her with your neighbour who is financially capable. Money is not everything in marriage but money is something in marriage. Most activities in marriage revolve round money.

As much as a lady should not marry a man solely because of his money, it is not applaudable for a la9dy to marry a man who cannot at least put food on the table. Your fathers may have been lucky to marry your mothers under such situation but things have changed alongside with time. Ladies of these days are not half a match of your mothers. In fact, comparing ladies of these days with our mothers is a very big mistake.

You must not be mega rich before it can be safe for you to be married but you shouldn't be too wretched not to be able to afford putting food on the table as at when expected and needed.
