You can’t blame China for trying to develop and create something good for its citizens. The US and it’s allie keep acting like the POLICE of the world ; placing sanctions , fines, ban etc on countries and institutions all across the globe. That’s the main reason why the Chinese govt want its people to be independent and have their own platform designed for their citizens. And when you talk about culture , they have the right to choose what the foundation of their culture would be ; which is respect . The same US govt is the one spending billions of dollars on building surveillance drone and military weapons , and yet they don’t want other countries to have the same . Keep wondering why people keep flooding the USA embassy? Why ain't they flooding the china embassy the same way they do flood USA embassy? Because the USA economy is the best economy for everyone. China just released their GDP for the last quarter, their growth rate is worst compared to what it was about 3 decades ago.

Chinese Economic experts pointed to the trade war with US as a factor and stated China Economy is a slow mode at the moment and that growth prospects for China are not encouraging if the dispute continues.

That's wrong assertion. From reports, it's actually companies that are relocating from China to neighbouring countries. I think I am hearing that tech companies (except Huawei) are relocating to neighbouring countries outside of china. I think the info is obtainable online and there are different analysis of the trending event about the Sino-American trade war

The same thing is happening in Canada now.

With the way I see Chinese citizens rush to enter Nigeria, it may take China another 100 years to be like America.

A friend told me that the same way we rush to enter the US and UK is how Indians and Chinese rush to enter Nigeria.

China posts its lowest quarterly growth in 27 years as the trade war drags on
China's economy grew 6.2% in the second quarter from a year ago, the country's statistics bureau said on Monday.

While China's second quarter GDP was lower on-year, industrial activity in June "surprised to the upside," said Nomura economists in an analysis, with year-on-year growth of industrial production jumping to 6.3% versus 5.0% in May. Retail sales growth jumped to 9.8% from a year ago in June compared to 8.6% in May.

"Bulls might claim that this is a result of the resilience of the Chinese economy and the effectiveness of Beijing's countercyclical easing measures," wrote the Nomura economists said in a note.

Factor in the size of China while you're at it and compare it with GDP Growth Rate in the United States which averaged 3.22 percent from 1947 until 2019. Now tell, how many countries achieve anything as high as China's perceived failure?
