If you had read the story carefully, you would have deduced that these were real herdsmen because they were with their cows, which strayed into the deceased farmer's land and caused some damage; which in turn led to the altercation that ultimately resulted in the farmer's death.

There seems to be an apparent increasing apathy in reading and comprehension because some ppl are still foolishly asking 'where are the cows' even after the story had clearly mentioned them. SMH.

There are Fulani herdsmen in the south west. I can confidently say that. There was a time I went to see my late dad's acres of land in ogun state. While going with my siblings, I saw the Fulani herdsmen and their cows in their settlements. I even bought cow milk(wara) from them.
Although they look peaceful but I don't trust them.
