Some who wrote the test last week have already received regret mails from shell due to how poorly they fared in their test results. Those who have gone 2 - 3 days after the test without receiving such are more likely to move on to the next stage.

I enjoin all that have gotten the regret mail from shell to move on!This chicanery act of trying to reapply is unscrupulous and gives a negative representation about the applicant.For those that are yet to get a mail from them, hope and pray; nothing is impossible.

People that reapply would be tracked and be blacklisted for future applications .. Was told this by someone knowledgeable about the system and that it's very easy for them to track re applications.. He emphasized on the "very easy"

Confirmation shouldn't take that long, something must be wrong some where.
Better u send them a mail or re-apply

Lol.. Not even shell, even someone like u, with the bare knowledge u could ve in a recruitment process, u can fish out and track those that ve applied previously. Don't mind them. When they hear shell, they think it's one community service job recruitment.

as for me, i was just relaying what someone told me as info. What if one wants to apply as an experienced hire in the future...what if your name is cross feeded into into other databases. i'm not criticizing anyone, just passing info. You never know what the future brings.

Am not saying u'll get love letter o i jst want to confirm because i wrote d test I got: one-8, two7, two-6, and one-4 and i got d love letter after 48hrs.
Am asking to assist my friend who is yet to apply because he also dnt hv d NYSC yet bt we wl lay our hand on it next week.

hmmn, i really don't know how the scoring affects chances..my scores are just too lopsided. i really hope they are not pinpointing certain traits for rejection

Mehn this is serious... This is aprox 72hrs after my test and am still waiting... I just hope something good turns up... Please can you screenshot the love letter lemme see, so that incase such a mail appears in my inbox I'll just ignore it and move on!

For those doubting the OVDI, you may do well to keep abreast with the previous thread on this company's recruitment. It follows the current pattern that plays here. https://www.nairaland.com/3829939/shell-nigeria-graduate-recruitment-2017/84. There are 3 outcomes from the test; a regret mail, a pending mail and a success mail; the 1st and 3rd likely to be received some 48-72 hours after the test. For the 2nd, my guess is that it is dependent on the availability of space for the role applied(Shell almost always applies a first come, first serve basis) more often that not regret mails are sent later. I wish everyone the very best.

They can't blacklist names, different people bears d same name.

About fishing out double applications, any body can do that since all info are going to d same source.

There is no harm in trying again, so far the application portal is still open. Person wey fail d first time can do exceptionally well on the second trial. (Most people makes mistakes during d first attempt due to some ignorance)

It's left for shell to decide how they want to select.

Wait ooo. Am yet to see someone with the OVDI invite ooo. If they are here, let them speak up na...
