This road is the worst in the whole of Lagos State......

In the past, Fashola told us that it is because Lagos is in the opposition that was why the road wasn't been repaired. Ironically, Fashola is the best human that really alleviated the sufferings by constructing the Igbo-elerin-Igando road....
Otherwise, Hiroshima and Nagasaki for better pass that place..

The other one came and said the only Lagos he knows is Epe....the landlord came and said he doesn't get votes from Ojo, so idoncare

International Trade Fair Market, Alaba-International International Mkt, Military Barracks, The State University Permanent Campus...all there yet, na votes be their business....kwantinu

Ambode abandoned this road and focused effort on Epe. What kind of wickedness is this? This is completely inexcusable!

The worse part of it are those custom officer, they task drivers like no tomorrow, infact I always feel pity for those drivers on that route. Every quarter of a mile custom you’ll definitely come across custom and police officers and you better pay them, if not hmmm

But when same person was the state governor for 8 years the road was never like that. Ambode as a governor was the worst thing to have ever happened to Lagos. Lagos - Badargry is a sensitive and political issue. Because of the economic benefit of that road Fashola, as Lagos governor took FG of Jonathan to court to take ownership just like all the BRT lanes, they won the case. By implication lagos should responsible for the road. Also of note is that there is ego issue between fashola and Ambode, Unfortunately APC cant point accusing finger against the state or the now FG on the road because of election, by exemption fashola as works minister cannot fix lagos - badagry road because it is a state road under egoistic ambode

Very true. Last time I passed there, even bike couldn't pass from iyana isasi to after iyana iba.
Upon say I trekked and biked some places. I still got to work late with body pain and headache.

oga receive sense for once nah.. The road is an international road and the federal government is solely responsibility for the repair just go and check where the state portion started on that same road. Always use your sense before you comment online don't allow hate and perdition to block your sense of reasoning

Our dear Lagos is truly becoming a glorified slum o. From V.I to Badagry area. I still believe this is due to the greed of political class and lack of foresightedness. Imagine hours wasted in traffic everyday that could have been used to rest and relax the body systems better.

Lagos has always been a slum.

Because of bad road and traffic jam, I use to trek from Volkswagen to okoko or sometimes afromedia or iyana isasi , far back 2002. The suffer started since when Tinubu was in power.

Ojo LG is like a leper to all successive governor of Lagos from ACN to APC

Lagos is losing it day by day. Our poor maintenance culture that has plagued anything good in Nigeria has finally settled into Lagos too. It won't be long before Lagos becomes a total eyesore at this rate.

We deserve the bad roads and all the other stuff that comes with voting stupidly.

Exactly. Lagos-Badagry expressway is much more terrible compared to this.
Little wonder people are running away from Ojo LGA as a whole and beyond it.

Look you guys, we are tired of all this nonsense. Is this the only road in Nigeria. Why Lagos/Badagry highway posts everyday. Why can't you channel your efforts to the government and monarchy you have kept in power since 1999. When elections come you wade through the mud to go vote them back again and insult anyone who has a contrary opinion to the whole charade. Abeg.

The whole of Lagos is a jungle. The day I plied that particular road going to Alaba market, I was really amazed to see everyone doing his/her thing and carry on as if everything was ok. Nobody seemed to complain. Everyone seemed used to the road and unbothered. I then realised that stress and hard life is a way of life in Lagos.

Terrible road, was at the beach today, the journey was hellish, the bad road typically took away the fun I had. Though I saw some road construction before mowo. It's nothing compared to the remaining damaged sections from Badagry to agbara bridge
