It's extremely saddening looking at the population of Nigeria, the ratio of jobless youths, the decline of education, health sector and almost every other sector yet the government isn't taking positive advantage of the workforce the youths can pull?

Are Nigerian youths lazy? No they aren't, they are all dormant with their dreams and ideas. There is complete lack of opportunity and support, it seems like everything is against you. Don't get me wrong..... If you check your whatsapp status you will be amazed almost everyone is trying to make ends meet by selling one item or the other.

The ones with genuine ideas and plans are outrightly faced with near impossible challenge of achieving it.

Would Mark Zuckerberg be successful in an environment like Nigeria? He would have possibly turned a fraudster rather than fight towards his dream.

Those youths you throw in jail for crimes could be put to better use. Many are innovative and have ideas that could solve the problems of this nation but resulted to Internet fraud due to lack of opportunities.

Naturally a good man will remain good until severe hunger sets in. After looking for a honest way to make a living without success he will resort to begging, if no one is kind enough to give him food he will certainly go stealing and won't mind the consequences as long as he eats that very moment.

Yes we can go ahead and arrest everyone but what happens afterwards? They will go back to the street and steal from those who are fortunate enough to earn decently.


Can the youths of this country possibly have a technology innovation challenge on how to solve challenges facing our States or Nigeria as a whole? Lots of us are dying with great ideas and solutions that could help the nation due to lack of opportunities and funding.

We are tired of gallivanting the social media without any meaningful headway. The govt should help let's create some decent income stream for the youths that are being thrown in jail and those seeking greener pastures in places Nigeria ought to be better than.

You can't call the youths lazy when you as a father neglect them.
It will interest you to know that 90% of the elites send their children to study abroad and acquire professional skill because they simply see no hope here, they know the chances of their wards becoming a failure are high yet they shy away from the truth.

The youths aren't lazy, we simply need help.

As you build, so you pull down. And wonder why you do not progress.

What exactly are you pulling down? I'm far far better than you financially and career wise in reality so don't dish the progress nonsense.

I stated the fact and won't feel bad if a girl walks out on me if I have nothing to offer her intellectually and financially.

Okay I can see you are myopic even when someone is being kind to you. I'm not begging the govt, it's actually their responsibility and they needed to be reminded.

I thank God for where I am today but for the hungry youths and masses one need to speak up. If speaking up make you think I'm begging then I'm sorry for your reasoning deficiencies.
