I have watched several Barca matches without Messi playing.

Barca is always at the mercy of other laliga clubs without a good attacking force. Messi needs help.

If I was at PSG, I'd happily take Dembele & Rakitic anytime. Although honestly Coutinho still has about 6 years of good football left while Rakitic is already over 30.

As soon as he left Liverpool, Champion's league glory came. Same happened to Michael Owen (he left for Real Madrid) in 2005.

Coutinho can never fit into Barca's football philosophy, most times he's always a distraction standing in d way of Alba-messi combination last season, he also cannot get pass defenders one on one unlike neymar...so I think both dembele and coutinho can leave either swap or by selling them, but dey should also prioritize a centre back and a backup left back

That's the problem with most Barca fans; they tend to compare their mishaps with Madrid's signings.

Just so you know, Real Madrid is the only club that had made much more horrible signings in the world and at the same time, the only club that has made the best signings since the introduction of the Galacticos philosophy.

Barcelona's philosophy is rooted in La Masia. The club is only getting to sign players only recently. Over the years, most of their stars breakout out from their academy but the great tilt in football signing these days has seen them abandon that.

Bringing Neymar to Camp Nou at the expense of Coutinho, Dembele and Rakitic would haunt them. They need Neymar but a swap should not be the ideal move. Dembele is very good but young. Perhaps Barca needs to get him a better physio to manage him. Messi is aging and fast becoming indecisive in matches compared to what he used to be. Unfortunately, Barcelona as always, has not made the best transfer decisions so far.

Barca won a treble before the arrival of Neymar. This isn't about the wings. All they need is a Messi replacement and Neymar isn't the person. The dude is a temporary fix and not a permanent one.

Plus, the move is not possible. PSG has made it known that they only want cash and not swap+cash. Barca doesn't have that kind of money right now, not with the arrival of Griezmann. The only way out would be to sell their flops to some money-miss-road clubs.

check it again , Barcelona as of last season averaged 10million pounds per player , the highest of any NBA team was 8.1m pounds . Look Andre gomes at Barca used to earn more than Marcelo at Madrid .
