Tanko is an embarrassment, he is not even fit to be a high court judge. Look at how he totally messed up himself at the senate

I dont get some people. Abaribe takes on Kanu on bail. Government illegally sends Soldiers to go and kill an unarmed Kanus in his house. Kanu escapes this assassination attempt and leaves the country to safeguard his life.

The same government that caused Kanu to leave the country now accuses Kanu of jumping bail and wants to punish Abaribe

Had Soldiers succeeded in murdering Kanu, would the government be after Abaribe today? No.

So they are after Abaribe because Kanu managed to escape with his life?

In civilised countries, a surety is given the opportunity to explain why the accused cannot be court. In Nigeria, all.they care about is producing the accused, whether dead or alive

This is no longer about justice, it is about revenge

Just say you don't have data to watch tbe video.

Did Tanko mention Kanu or even Abaribe at any point in the video?

Did he mention Biafra or even Nigeria at any point?

You guys are a disgrace to humanity.

I watched the video. Even though Tanko did not mention Kanu by name, what he is saying about the surety going to jail in liu of the accused is wrong.

What I'm saying is that a surety should be given the opportunity to state why an accused cannot be in court. Abaribe was given that opportunity and that is injustice

When you have a lawless country that is what you get. Abaribe deserves to be hanged for the role he played in the Biafra succession movement so far.

Tanko stated that the court is often restrained to enforce to the letter of the law in such cases.

He even said it is not the court's position to make the law but that of the legislature.

How Tanko has become a victim in all this boggles the mind.

Tanko is right NASS should consider adopting bail reform. Let's be foreal Aberibe probably wont go to jail. He'll just lose 100 million naira that day then go home.
