I don't know about abia in general but I can categorically tell you that aba is terrible

I know MCC road in Aba

it's opposite umojima road and the road leads to first bank at the other junction.

The road was far busier than this back then.

I can also recall that the governor tried to tar it back in 2016 because the road was complete eyesore before then.

Hence, infrasture was largely poor in Aba back then

Although this was in 2016, things might have changed now.

I didn't call out abia, I called out aba, I won't run commentary on something I know little about and yes, it is worse than oyingbo market during the rainy season, I don't know about sabongari market. I was in ariaria last week and it wasn't funny, for a city whose lifeline is commerce, the roads that lead to and from aba and even within aba itself are atrocious

When I hear people call the Kogi State Governor as the worst in the country, I just laugh and tell them to go to Abia State first. Then come let us have another discussion. Bia, enyi, you are embarassing yourself and the Govenor who sent you with these pictures. Have you ever seen Kano State people crying out on the State of their roads? No, because it is generally decent. Abians and travellers to Abians would no more cry over terrible (non)road when your Govenor ACTUALLY works on the road.
