Soul singer Timi Dakolo has told the Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) Biodun Fatoyinbo that he would be held responsible for the crimes he had committed.

He said his money, influence and power would not be enough to cover the crimes the flamboyant pastor had committed in the past.


Dakolo stated this as he alleged the invasion of his residence in Lagos by those he described as “unknown gunmen.”

The latest outburst is in continuation of the rape allegation his wife Busola levelled against the pastor. Busola had alleged that the COZA pastor raped her when she was 16 in Ilorin, Kwara state.

On his verified Instagram page, Dakolo had posted a photo of a Toyota Hiace which he claimed were loaded with heavily armed gunmen, but the Force Headquarters said they were at the singer’s house to present a letter of invitation in continuation of an investigation into the allegation.

Dakolo promised to defend his family with everything he had: “I will defend them from the unrelenting attack of a weak man who thinks he can use money and power to cover for all of his crimes.”

According to him, the Dakolos had long been ready for this type of institutionalized intimidation and dirtiness. “Investigating officials have frustrated as a result of underhand delay?”

Timi also pointed accusing fingers at who he described as dirty bloggers for “fabricating things that cover the truth, going to the IG’s people under dark to force this case to be posted to Abuja?

I don't think the man has something to offer in court all is doing is gathering sympathy from his fans and the gullible ones. white man can't do this , I mean straight to court let the rapist dance to the song he sang many years back! all you could is to mocking the future of your children on media.

But whether the sex was consensual or he raped her is what we dont know. But i doubt if Fatoyinbo can be convicted, cuz something that happened 20years ago, where dem go get evidence? except if Fato admit to raping her which i doubt he would do?
