The Dakolos are being accused of false accusations. The police have no business contacting their lawyers. They need to be taken for questioning. The onus lies on the Dakolos to get their lawyers involved.

If Busola Dakolo has falsely accused the Pastor of rape, then she is a criminal and should be treated as such. Ponder on this: many people have spent their most productive years in jail because of fals accusations. If the pastor is being falsely accused and reports the case to the police, the police have every right to take them in for questioning. While we are fighting for an end to rape, we should equally fight for an end to false accusations. Both are equally horrible and can have devastating consequences.

Police invitations are delivered by unarmed constables, who arrive using either police motorbikes, or easily identifiable police vehicles. I have never heard of SARS delivering invitation letters, when it is not a robbery case....

Concerning the police letter to timi and his wife, it's better they honour the invitation and stop trying rubbish the police, they made an accusation so let them use the opportunity to show everyone their evidence that a rape occured, shouting that the police came armed is only an excuse and a style to attract public sympathy, police are always meant to be armed when on duty.
