Unlike a ministerial position which is an appointment that can be terminated at any moment, the house of reps is for a fixed term(unless there's a recall). Secondly, the house of reps position gives one a better opportunity to directly impact on the lives of people closer to home and last but not least, the perks of office of a house of reps member exceeds those of a minister. In all, I wish him d best and whichever one he decides to take.

Nwajiuba will resign and then go through the "take a bow and leave" procedure, since he is a former lawmaker.....

The Present Governor of Bauchi State, Sen. Bala Mohammed was picked as Minister of FCT by President Jonathan whilst the former was still in the Senate.

Another bye-election will be conducted by his constituency....

If elected Governors can be picked, let alone lawmakers....

You have capacity to impact the lives of the greater Nigerian population as a minister, I doubt if the perks of office of a HSE of rep member surpasses that of a minister. I don't have facts just judging from the lifestyle of politicians.
Only downside is the lack of job security for a minister.
Anyway this people don't plan on impacting anybody positively so minster or HSE of rep all nah same
