Screening ministers without portfolios is a waste of time. There's nothing to stop Buhari from appointing Akpabio as Minister for Health, for instance, after all he has been successfully screened and told to take a bow.

For best results, we should know their portfolio going in and you can then ask the education minister what he intends to do about incessant strikes and ask the finance minister what's her plan if crude oil prices fall. As it is, there's no context for the screening and it's a total waste of time.

Is Nigeria better off with this Senate?
Time will tell.

IMO, I don't like this take a bow nonsense, the even if you are a senate member as at the time of nomination, you should be questioned by the house on what you intend doing as an appointed minister. 1/3 of a state elected you to represent them, of which interest varies, while as a minister you are working for the interest of all Nigerians.
