My short story,
I finished service, Batch B stream one, I have been searching for jobs. Have dropped over 30 applications both casted ones and legit ones. Have managed to dodge scam Job Alerts, and jobs with poor pay. A lot of firms are leveraging on this high unemployment stuff. You will see casted Job with Casted pay asking for B.Sc with not less than 2.1. I swallowed my pride and applied anyways. Wetin man go do? Atleast let me get to the final stage of Job offer before deciding to accept or not. No be this guys be my problem sha.

Na the other ones. The ones that have reasonable prospects. I have written about 5 test from them still have one left on Saturday. No be still this one dey PAIN me. My pain na say the 5 has not said anything. Somebody is just in the dark, only one has told me dat I passed the test. Still no further instructions. Na pass test be work?

Well one has to be optimistic and patient.

So if you read and you know a vacancy. Thank you for reading, let's work together to get me a Job. Please reply with solutions and Legit Job vacancy

Proverbs 13:12 - go and read it, and use the salient lesson it teaches to achieve your desired effect. You will not be bothered if you don't expect too much.

Firstly, when you apply for a job and you get shortlisted for an interview, understand that you have scaled through a major hurdle. After the interview, forget about the company, the interview and the job, and focus on the next one. Make sure you learn from mistakes in previous interviews (that's if it was pointed out during the interview or you noticed something you should have done better). Try not to think too much about when/if you will get a call for an offer or another interview after the first one.

Honestly I understand that it can be depressing looking for a job in Nigeria without connections (aka referral). You should learn to deal with rejection/snubs from ill mannered HR execs and all round craziness (especially in a place like Lagos). Just take it in your stride and brush it off soon as you encounter such things. Make sure you don't behave like them when you make it. #SHALOM
