please I want to buy a new phone and I'm torn between redmi note 7 and Samsung a50. Which one should I go for? price is not an issue. Kindly advise.

I have forgotten that snapdragon is the king of all processor.

The exynos 9600 series that samsung is using on A50 is equivalent to Snapdragon 660

Processors are on par with the redmi note 7 having a better gpu,
The note 7 has gorilla glass 5 back and front.
The A50 has very beautiful FHD amoled display with gorilla glass 3 protection but with plastic back cover, in-display fingerprint (don't know if this is a pro cause it's not as fast as regular fingerprint scanner)
Both have good battery backup

So choose the one wey come from your belle

Had this same dilemma between Y9 Prime 2019, Redmi Note 7 and Samsung A50 and despite being a die hard redmi fan i decided to go for the A50. (Second day of use) Y9 Prime screen just looked cheap so after checking it out for a few mins i moved on.

A50 Pros - Amazing Amoled Screen, Strong Battery, Under display fingerprint, Premium feel. Pubg is played on the highest settings (HD), FAST Face ID, Video wallpaper lock screen, Really impressive camera.

A50 Cons - Under display finger print not as fast as regular rear mounted finger print sensor. Price difference, Redmi note 7 is alot cheaper.


In all i feel like i made the right choice.
