This is not emotions
It is sir.even before atiku closed his case,i predicted that based on the witnesses and evidence he presented inec and apc will not present any evidence since atiku witnesses has destroyed his case for him.that's the smartest play by inec because if inec presents witnesses, they may fumble like atiku's witnesses under cross examination and give life to atiku's petition.you can see how inec witnesses are behaving in the akwa ibom election tribunal.highest thing inec can do is to present documents if need be.inec just gave atiku's lawyers an upper cut

Why do you like uttering nonsense? Can you give an example of the overwhelming evidence pdp dropped?
I remember that was their exact stance in the Osun trial.

Now let the apc and buhari defend theirs as schedule.

For inec to even put up a defense will further put them on the spot.

That was their same position in Osun's case. They should be neutral.
Their non presentation of witnesses is not based on neutrality but based on what atiku presented.they cannot be neutral as far as there the first respondents.the only neutral party now are the judges

Thats what i have been trying to say.you can see what is happening at akwa ibom.i wont be surprised if buhari and apc also refuse to call witnesses

If the present witnesses, atiku lawyers might put them under pressure and will contradict themselves.all apc and buhari need to do is to call voters to testify that there was free and fair polls, call inec staffs that will deny that there transmitted to a server and that there's no server.
Plus they need to call witnesses to attest that buhari certificate got destroyed, that buhari is learned and attended courses abroad and some of his classmates to show that the schools he attended existed and they were his mates
Re: BREAKING: We Won’t Call Any Witness In Defence Of Petition By PDP, Atiku – INEC by Nobody:
I don’t know what INEC have up their sleeves but INEC should not be using tax payers money to defend themselves on a fraud they committed against the people

Quite frankly INEC should not even be calling a defence lawyer on these issues rather they should be unbiased witness providing the facts and data as requested and willing to accept her own mistakes if shown in court that they have made mistakes

PDP should ensure the Prof Yakubu stands in the duck and answers questions on what went down!

Yakubu is still in the country and is still the INEC chairman he must testify in court!

In a country with the rule of law, the opposition would be pronouced winner of the election. Atiku / Obi all the way
In which country is that, have you been following the case? If yes, pls tell us which of Atiku's witness has given reasonable evidence enough to give INEC headache?
Can you compare what Atiku and PDP is doing and what is happening in Always Ibom?

Non of the witnesses of Atiku has given reasonable evidence that the election was not free and fair, INEC had said they dont have server for collation of results and pdp has no evidence that such server exist.

INEC has no defense and make a face saving submission. They would have been taken to the cleaners from budgeting, disbursement, procurement, training, denial and subsequent admittance of server as well as the weight of conscience.

Now let the remaining one defend themselves. This was exact Osun scenario and tribunal rule in favor of the petitioner.

The trap of technicalities must have been planted somewhere. We are watching.

Overwhelming evidence without evidence.

I believe the court proceedings have been quite open for even a mentally challenged person to conclude that ATiku had not provided any overwhelming evidence, beyond any reasonable doubt,to even cancel the elections, not to talk of declaring him the winner.

The last time I checked, the court was not a father Xmas.

INEC has a server and they should stop all this public misinformation. I have check their website and I saw it.

Step to assess INEC server

1. Visit www.inecnigeria.org
2. Click on the MENU at the top right corner
3 click on election
4. Click on elected candidate 2019
4. You will see list of election held into different position, the click on the one you want and the PDF of the result will be downloaded straight to ur system.

Kindly share this info among friends who are still being misinformed about the existence of INEC server.
What are you saying? Educate yourself more bro, thats not what they are talking about, they are referring to a database where result were transmitted to from polling units, processed and editted before going to public. What you described above is just like surfing the website, same as you are doing right now. Read more on server. On the contrary I doubt if such exists, and if it does PDP should convince us

Their non presentation of witnesses is cos they can't defend the case against them. Leave the lame talk of there was nothing to defend.

That won't inhibits the tribunal anyways.

I live in an estate in Lagos, where the population of all the six geopolitical zones, is almost at par.Since 1999,any presidential candidate that won my polling unit, always ended up being declared as the president elect. 2019 was not an exception.Call it mere coincidence, whatever, such things do happen.

So except I slept and dreamed otherwise,Buhari won in my polling unit and was declared president elect.

We all have different or similar experiences, some in favour of Buhari, others in favour of Atiku.

Only the court proceedings and final judgement can prove otherwise.

But so far from the court proceedings, only a man without conscience like you, will expect the court to declare Atiku winner.Even Adeleke did better than this .

Atiku is coming scamming grin

In a country with common sense and rule of law, the case would have been dismissed lo g time ago.
My brother, the court is just trying to fulfill all righteousness. The verdict at the end of the tribunal will be. Atiku case is thrown out of court for lack of merit. He might even be fined for wasting the precious court time

That was their same position in Osun's case. They should be neutral.
Not totally true.

INEC is a creation of the law which is saddled with the conduct of elections. INEC is to follow laid down rules and regulations as contained in the INEC Act.

What a petitioner needs to do is to show by evidence that an election conducted by INEC and in which he was a candidate did NOT comply with the Electoral Act and the regulations made pursuant to it.

The petitioner must call credible witnesses, provide documentary evidence and link ALL together to show how INEC did not follow the law. It is only when a petitioner does this that the onus of proof shifts to INEC.

What INEC needs to show is to demonstrate that it complied SUBSTANTIALLY with the law. No more, no less.

The fulcrum of Atiku and PDP's case before the tribunal is that he won majority of lawful votes and relies on a server's result.

Nigerians who follow political developments avidly know that the 2019 election was conducted based on the old law- 2015 Electoral Act. The are also aware that the last minute attempts by Saraki's Senate to amend the law to allow e-voting failed as the president refused to sign it into law as the purported amendment violate existing law and ECOWAS protocol of which Nigeria is a signatory.

I am of the view that is silly to rely on the evidence of a Kenyan who was told by an INEC whistleblower that Atiku won the election based on result sent to a site allegedly from INEC server.

Common...

The most shocking part of the whole mess of a case was when Atiku's national collation officer abandoned the INEC server claim at the tribunal and admitted that collation was in fact done manually.

That sounds the death knell on Atiku's petition.
