I think Nigerians just suddenly stopped listening to rap music like 4yrs ago and now most rappers have become singers to keep getting shows and making money - Olamide, Phyno, etc.
The few people still rapping have to feature singers and deliver mad choruses to get the attention of the Nigerian audience.
Rap has now become R n B genre that doesn't get its deserved attention before Nigerians who seem to have settled for only danceable songs.
