There has been outrage on Twitter following the reported robbery incident at University of Uyo where a yet to be identified female student was stabbed.

The attack, which ‘occurred in the early hours of Monday was reportedly carried out by a four-man robbery syndicates. Some of the students of the school took to Twitter to express outrage over the incident saying the security situation in the school ‘is very poor’.

While the school authority was yet to make a comment over the incident, some of the students disclosed that the Monday’s incident was not the first time armed robbers will be invading the student hostels.
