I'm getting to like this guy (Pepe) the more I watch his highlights. The boy is fast and he can dribble with his speed, too.

..... Oh yes, he will be devastating on the counter, something we love doing under Emery but where Zaha edges him is dribbling in tight spaces and this will come handy against teams who sit back. Pepe isn't very good in that area, even Iwobi betters him in that part of the game. And also he will need to adjust to the premier League. We all saw how Torreira and Guendouzi faded in the second half of the season, especially the former who was rather a liability on the pitch.

.... Well, one thing he will have is that the pressure won't be too much on him since our firepower is above average even without him. Let's see what happens though. He is actually a fantastic winger regardless.

He has Diaby,viera legs with var coming up, he's gon win us lots of penalties, his long legs and trickery will do it several times.
I just hope he can match the hardness of this league and tries shooting from outside the box like Robben,Messi,Sallah,di maria and rest.

Baba, I am happy you are becoming flexible and more accepting of Pepe because I believe he has the skills that we need on the wings. Asides from the dribbling skills and speed, I am more enthused about his power/ physicality on the ball.

I noticed that to, let's hope in Jan or next summer we get a LW who can do that..
He is similar to Sallah in that they both aren't good against bus parking teams, except that Sallah can shoot and curl the bal,but Mane covers that area, maybe Soares can be our LW like Mane.
Btw, I'm seeing lots of potential formation from fans forcing Auba and laca , should they play, it is either Auba stays as CF or RW and never that LW.

You make a very good point about Martinelli and I share the same thoughts. Honestly, I will like to see Nelson on the LW and Martinelli can come in as a sub.

..... The plan obviously is to get two good starting wingers. We have gotten the harder of the two because a quality left footed winger is hard to find in the market. I am convinced Soares is on Arsenal's radar and we might probably get next summer if we quality for the champions League.

..... Pepe will most likely be a starter and that will leave the right wing locked down. Auba doesn't play well on the left because he isn't good at cutting like a true winger. It will depend on Emery's formation but if he wants to go 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, he will most likely go with Iwobi/Mkhi - Auba - Pepe. Laca might be on the bench or behind the striker. I don't see Emery starting Laca - Pepe - Auba on the pitch at the same time often next season as the main attack, it won't work well practically.
