Bros nah heaven u deh stay? Why would u call mainland ppl broke? Well my reasons is more like dis. On weekends both r top notch, during d the week days island folks, mostly from agungi to sangotedo tends to b going home (from V.I/ikoyi, lere) and prolly not going out again, except to nearby stores which gave birth to short trips nd I presume most drivers r not in d mood for such trip, but on destination trips. Odd hours for mainland is interchangeable, outside ikorodu, the rest areas r mixture of all economy factors (home, store, church, office) where u tend to meet different cluster riders with less or no access to transport from point A - B. I hope you will agree with my dat during evening rush hours, its easy to get public trans to island than any other route in Lagos state (Check BRT stand at night & u will pity for ppl).

I said too many broke ppl, I didn't say mainland ppl are broke. Am about 2months on this hustle and I stay around idimu, anytime i find myself on the island its usually a good day. The spoiler is having to drive back home

Since he owns the car, he can as well start by working on weekends, Saturday and Sunday. Then he will know if it's something he can do or would love to do full time. If he can net 20k after fuel and commission on weekends then he's good to go.

Better don't say what you can't do. Even those that do full time are struggling to pay 30k weekly. If you work from 5-11pm on uber, you'll probably get home by 12 midnight, wake up again by 4-5am the next morning. That's about 4 hrs sleep. Not enough. You'll surely be dozing in the office.


Even if you manage this routine from Monday to Friday, you'll definitely need to rest on Saturday or Sunday. Because there's no way you can work for 16 hrs daily, 7 days in a week without breaking down. So you need to have a rethink.

Good Evening All, I am a teacher and I am planning to go into this biz. My plan to do like 3 hours per day during the week, full time on Saturday, like 6 hours on Sunday(After church). Now my enquiries:
1. Why is a corolla preferred to other cars(e.g Camry-Big Daddy). I intend getting one of the 2.

2. How much can I make with my little plan above?

3.Can a Tecno phone(Camon X) be used for both Uber & Taxify?

How do you report when a rider pays less on uber platform? Trip ended at 2,068 rider paid 1,400 from costain to close to maryland mall.

Thanks you sir.. No have not scan it yet it happen last week I pass bad road and misfire after 5min d light show up but I borrow Co pilots battery so d light went off but today now I was on speed when i ran into pot hole after 3min d light just show up again
