Awa Legos I abandoned my house in Lekki because each time it rained, the adjoining Streets and premises would be water-logged for days preventing me from going out and keeping kids out of school. We're really enjoying our lives here in Enugu. |

DavSagacity:Don't mind Lagosians. Instead of them to vote PDP in Lagos like you did in Abia state so that Lagos can become heaven like Abia state, them no gree! |

EPIJOE:Told you folks. The Island and Lekki has no viable long term future. The sea is coming and from an engineering perspective will continue to alter the gradient of any drainage system rendering them less effective year on year until there is a net back flow. In a few decades it will only be Dangote's refinery that will be left standing on an island and that will be because he will have enough resources to keep the ocean away. The planet is heating up drastically and the effects are more water in the oceans and more water vapour in the air aka rainfall potentials. Personally my lungs are sensitive to humidity and I can tell you it has never been this bad before. There is excessive moisture everywhere. |

MrMou:Abia state and Lagos state are exactly alike in terms of politics and its effects on development. Both are seriously behind the curve. |

tfash96:My brother, I reside in Lagos and hence, I know exactly what I am talking about. Apart from the subject matter, there are a lot of other issues we battle with on a daily basis right here. You tend to wonder if this City is really worth the hype. I repeat, Lagos is OVERRATED!!! |
| Re: Lagos Streets Flooded After Rainfall (Photos) by Rekeb: 7:29am On Jul 31, 2019 |
donogaga:It all depends on the part of Lagos you stay in. Lagos is a very big city with different levels of development in all part. So is most large cities around the world. |
