I abandoned my house in Lekki because each time it rained, the adjoining Streets and premises would be water-logged for days preventing me from going out and keeping kids out of school. We're really enjoying our lives here in Enugu.

Told you folks. The Island and Lekki has no viable long term future. The sea is coming and from an engineering perspective will continue to alter the gradient of any drainage system rendering them less effective year on year until there is a net back flow. In a few decades it will only be Dangote's refinery that will be left standing on an island and that will be because he will have enough resources to keep the ocean away.

The planet is heating up drastically and the effects are more water in the oceans and more water vapour in the air aka rainfall potentials. Personally my lungs are sensitive to humidity and I can tell you it has never been this bad before. There is excessive moisture everywhere.

Abia state and Lagos state are exactly alike in terms of politics and its effects on development. Both are seriously behind the curve.

We really need to give national awards to all Lagos residents. I mean, how can one wake up by 4am because of work, and still go back home at 11pm?

Just 5 days I stayed in Lagos (I decided to experience Lagos the street way) I almost ran mad. Where are people rushing to? Both pedestrians and motorists moving as if there's a race.

This so called flood can happen anywhere in the world we're surrounded by water bodies now in this planet..What will you now say about Japan & other foreign countries that do experience earthquake as their own natural disaster..If anything isn't done immediately like solution ehn ehn u can now start lambasting.. It all depends on the part of Lagos you stay in. Lagos is a very big city with different levels of development in all part. So is most large cities around the world.

This is too hazardous, I hope the Lagos Government will find preventive solution to this flood disaster

I came to Lagos recently and the next day I was at a bus stop ...I wanted to cry, come and see disorder.

if you are not staying on island then pls don't brag about Lagos being the best state .
Mainland is thrash except for few estates.
