My TV also refused to switch on, but I fixed it by flinging a sledge hammer at an angle of 30 degrees towards the screen.

Bro ur TV is on childlock, with that clock number I am seeing that is the issue

Same thing with my Lg DVD home theatre reciever.
It powers off on its own in like 30 mins of playtime.

And I just bought it new..thoor I was advised it's from partial contact unlike the innitial mother board I thought it was from

Give wetin to LG service centre a plasma screen that was last produced in 2011/2012 . He should try his luck tho...just that the TV might gather dust for few months over there

System board is bad, it hang there without going beyond that particular place, you will need to replace or repair it by blowing the ic with heater. But I will advise you take it to a repairer. Thanks

Simply perform a hard reset, Remove and replug the power then

Method 1. Press and Hold <OK> button on remote as well as TV panel at the same time for a few seconds.
Method 2. Press and hold the {MENU} button on the remote and the {MENU} button on the TV at the same time for at least 5-7 seconds.

The problem is either from the main board or u lock it up

That might be the backlight issue

I think that is not a power issues, ensure u have not pressed anything unkwingly @d SETTINGS or else u would go to settings if it allow remote functions, go n return d it to default setting.if it does not work den a power condenser on d POWER BOARD is swollen or A condenser on d picture board is swollen as well

The backlight is toast, the screen needs to be replaced.

please don't worry yourself, plasma use to expired,its always generate heat when you on it,if you observe,thats how plasma use to work and they all have expired date,not like LCD and LED

Sorry o, colleague in office once told me about thesame issue :she said LG product has expiring date so try and take it to any of their bramch offices near to u and it will be fixed with charges too-takecare
