Hello.

Please for those who submitted passport at vfs after approval. how days did it take to get the passport back.

I have tried to track it online but not going through. Is there a way to track.

Thanks.

You should send a message to London immigration and copy Lagos immigration, explaining in details her timeline when she did the biometrics and attach the email she got from vfs after the biometrics was done and wait for their response. Meanwhile, if you can, you both should go to the vfs office in Lagos to lay a complaint.
Livy2018:
Hello house,

Please I need help and insights from you all here.

I submitted an online TRV application for my Mum on June 11, got letter for Biometrics on June 12 and she did her biometrics at VFS Lagos office on June 13. Her application was never updated. Biometrics never changed to received. This morning I got an update to her account and logged in to see that her application was refused because she didnot comply with teh rerequest for Biometrics. Her visa office is London.

This is a bit weired becaue she did Biometrics and got an email on June 13 VFS titled "Application accepted". Was there suppose to be another email from VFS?

Please whats the best course of action at this point? Raise a Case specific enquiry post-final decision? Write an appeal letter?
I feel my mum's application was not fairly determined, the officer either didnt check thru properly or VFS didnt submit her biometrics, which was paid for, anyways.

Pls your kind and quick responses would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Same thing here too. Things have changed from the way it used to be. Before now, when you submit your passport, you fill a form with your email and phone number and when the passport is ready(3-5days later) you get a message informing you. But it’s all changed now. Have you gotten the counter foil message on the validity of your passport ?

I have not gotten any message. I'm just in limbo. Outside the paper I will use to collect my passport they gave me at the counter, I have not received any email.

I saw on the student thread that the embassy does final verification after a passport request. I saw one or two people that were refused after an original passport request because they used fraudulent bank statement.

Thanks. I have raised a CSE and also logged a technical complaint within her profile.

I am very very serious. One of the people that we believe was affected was very popular member of the student section. He got an original passport request and after a month he mailed them and they said his application is still on active review. Since then we've not heard from him.

Meanwhile others wrote that they got mails from the embassy on fraudulent bank statements after receiving a passport request:

Add emails to it please like someone suggested. Send to London and copy lagos. If possible copy Ottawa. They just have to reopen her case.

This is the email I could find online:

I am not sure why. Maybe we have learnt how to fly without perching and they've learnt how to shot without aiming.

What I am sure of is secondary verification after passport request.

Hi, I also submitted my second application 24th June( Online) after getting rejected due to" Family ties in home & canada" , got email confirmation same day & got an email notiification saying my profile was updated 25th June but nothing was changed (Ghost mail). Since then till now my eligibility review is yet to be started . it has been 33 Days since submission and nothing yet, Online for nigeria says it takes 45days so lets see if that applies (12 days to go)
Same thing is happening to me.

Prayers up

Just came across your posts. It is possible that they linked you to your to fiancee's family in canada. However let's see how it goes.

Eligibility review not started doesn't mean your application isn't being processed. Some had eligibility review briefly before the decision.
You are right. I got eligibility review message and application status minutes apart in my first application.

I doubt the pedantic IRCC will approve an application when they are yet to verify all submitted documents. I think the only verification they might conduct will be on the visas in the passport since that is the 1st time they are seeing the passport physically.

They are not almighty. The only almighty is God. Anything run or created by humans will inevitably have errors. It is normal for people to try to circumvent a system and sometimes they succeed despite the checks and balances.

There was a couple that had their visa approved in the US birth thread. They later got a mail a few days later that they should return for interview and were refused. My personal opinion was that they applied to US first and while waiting for the interview they applied to the UK. Then before UK gave decision they applied online to Canada. This way they can circumvent declaring refusals. Canada refused but the UK granted. The US visa officer asked her about the UK visa but not about the Canada refusal because it didn't appear on the DS-160. But finally the biometric checks revealed it later on. This is just an example of circumvention.

"Almighty pedantic " means someone or something that is extremely careful and it is a taunt not a commendation. Please dont misquote me. No one can take the place of God. I agree with your other assertion though.
