I wonder why the Commander In Chief, The President has refusedto rejig the leadership of the military so as to remotivate our boys. Forget the media propaganda by FG, its obvious we are taking a heavy casualty in this insurrection

So unfortunate! This is Nigeria where anything evil that comes up in the minds of a group of people in unity to do to their fellow citizen is successfully done, and they boast about it, forgetting that what they sow, they will reap. And the government of the day keep paying lip service about tackling security problem pragmatically.

In other news, Sowore, Eedris Abdulkareem and their gangs had planned to shut down Nigeria on August 5 in order to create awareness of the state of the nation. The country, as we all know, is deteriorating fast & corruption, crime, oppression, insecurity, and a host of other anti-social practices have reached an unbearable level. They said Ojoro No Dey this time. And advised all fake freedom fighters not to join the team on that day.

The news should be

We Killed 40 Python Dancers, Islamic State Claims.
Why are you showing pictures of reformed Boko Haram ex fighers? How do you know they've not reformed? Can you categorically say 100% that the returned to the terror group? It is mere speculation.

If a lot of the reformed fighters returned to join the insurgents, the army would have said so. Even if some return, it will be a minuscule number.

You need to understand why an amnesty and rehabilitation were necessary.

Assuming you're one of the insurgents and realize that if you surrender you'll be killed by the Nigerian forces, will you surrender? I'm sure you'll fight until you're killed in battle. Such wars are very bloody because the opposing side will hold on to their positions until the last man is killed.

Also, many fighters were coerced into fighting. Others joined because Nigerian forces had killed their loved ones needlessly and sought revenge by joining the dreaded group only realizing too late that the medicine was far worse than the disease. Others joined because of money, others because they felt the group were propagating Islam and so on. Many are tired of fighting and realise the futility and horror of it all.

Many inmates of prisons in the South who have interacted with Boko Haram prisoners say they are nice guys.

We down in the South tend to look at Northerners with suspicion. It is as though they aren't human. It is based on this perceptions that no amnesty for them is hinged.

No, unless you mean fura d nono and other stuff. Certainly not enough to meet the demands of even one state and we certainly do not have the major components of production and quality control in place.
We don't have enough cows in Nigeria?

Everything else can be very easily provided. Including the quality control. If we continue to import because imports are of higher quality, will we ever become a major producer of anything? Do you think it is better for Nigeria to remain a net importer?

Once again you have pulled a figure out of some dark, smelly orifice where the sun don't shine! Continue! I still ask, is that why this government will not allow us rest from hopeless, dirty, inimical lies while citizens are killed and injured with properties destroyed daily?

lies and deceit was the worst under PDP believe it or not. It was under PDP that $30billion dollar was said to had been used for military hardware. Money that was shared among the political thieves. Abeg I no fit shout.

Those things need to be in place before any ban is initiated or implemented by the FG otherwise it will bring needless suffering to Nigerians while creating some black market racket that will only enrich a few government cronies. Do you prefer that?
There has to as seamless a transfer as possible especially for a product like milk that major consumers are our infants and young children. The cows in Nigeria also need to be confined in a place and nomadic rearing outlawed. The FG must also steer clear of any plan for forceful seizure of lands and deployment of public funds for this purpose. The private business sector which cattle rearing belongs to must be allowed to function with regulatory policies of government and then we will know that we are actually serious about changing the narrative of milk production and consumption in Nigeria.

There is going to be some hardship. It must be accepted but it won't be on an unmanageable scale.

Milk importation has not been banned so what will happen is that imported milk will gradually become more expensive but that also leaves enough time for the local production framework including the economic and regulatory apparatus to be put in place. Bearing in mind that these efforts to encourage local milk production have been ongoing for some time now, and have only just been intensified by the restriction of forex access.

and if a few get enriched along the way, we have to take it for what it is. After all, the foreign milk that is imported at a cost to our economy (degradation of the naira) is also enriching just a few.

A sympathizer of a terrorist can never repent. Keep supporting the jihadist, and turn back to sympathize with the victims, what an irony.

I'm against any act of terrorism and those who support them by vote, moral or finance.

Supporter, why haven't FG proscribe Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists, or is there any group that has killed more people than them since 2015?, you're a typical definition of a sycophant.

You still have the gut to talk after voting Boko-haram sympathizer, a man who said "a fight against Boko-haram is a might against the North".

I'm laughing your foolishness for inviting calamity upon Nigeria for a piece of meat. You can vote Shakau as far as he can guarantee presidency to the West by 2023.

shocked

Being a soldier here in Nigeria is just like a suicide mission. How would you give soldiers a totaled, outdated guns and machines to fight an advanced terrorist with sophisticated weapons?

The fact still remains that the governments no longer cares, although many soldiers had died fighting terrorist ,but if it were to be in the USA this is happening, their president will surely tackle it.

What does it take the president to apply full force and make it hot on those terrorists, just send battalions and regiment of soldiers to barricade and surround borno state as a whole and attack from all angles without the exception of airforce.

As a soldier man now, you walk on the street with your shoulder up like you are God, you talk to people anyhow because you are in your uniform, you disobey traffic rules and bash someone else's car and claim MR right , then you feel you can do anyhow like you are above the law.

Learn from US soldiers, befriendly and try to help people and not showing them you are high or taking them to be inferior.

We just need revolution in this country. I get so exasperated when i hear news of fallen soldiers.

If you're more interested in treating effects against the cause of the event be my guest. You aren't antagonizing the government who's primary assignment is protection of her citizens, but rather channel your energy on a person, who's doing that, even after voting boko-haram sympathizer into government.

Look, you need a memory card of 252MB because your brain capacity is below par.
