I had a patient(a 3 year old girl) whose father was sexually abusing..By poking his fingers in her private part,forcing her to svck his joystick.
When we decided to involve the social unit and take up the case,it was the mother who refused.
Said she wasn't ready to lose her marriage,hence she will send the little girl to go live in the village with her grandmother.
That girl was her first child.
She was nursing a baby boy.
Women will do anything to stay in a marriage.
That is what society expects
