Please everything should not be politricks. If you were from Imo state, you wouldn't even be talking about something like roads built by okorocha. The said university was built with government money but positioned to be a PPP. So you know who the other parties of the PPP are, your guess is as good as mine.

Does the law allow a state governor to build or own a private business while still governing a state?

The concept of public-private ownership of university is alien to Nigeria, can never work.
Anyhow, good that Okorocha said here that his government built the university, and did not name any private contributor of funds to build the university.

It's most important that Imo state government convert the university to its state university.

You guys are really leaving in stone age, while other states are developing as per infrastructure, you guys are busy demolishing what no governor has done since Mbakwe regime. How is Freedom park causing flood in Imo state? You guys can't even maintain control roundbout, just imagine dirts and overgrown grasses on the roundbout. Gosh what is happening in Imo state, I wasn't really a fan of the past governor due to non payment of salary in full as at when due but I don't understand this man called Ihedioha oooo

As the Oweri-only development practices of tricky Imo state governors pull nearly all elites population in Imo state to Owerri, we must expect Owerri to become beyond mmekwatarism - can't be remedied, now and in future. Even if as it now looks that no other location in Imo state outside Owerri is worth mention again.

Even the new built areas like Obinze, Umuguma, Irrete Naze, Ubomiri beyond Egbeada where Owerri expands to, have no roads, no water, no govt amenities.
Many years of greedy concentration and coveting of all govt projects that induce development in Owerri, caused the rot in Owerri.
