If Okorocha had bought these vehicles, Amadioha would have crushed them and donate them to Steel Coy for recycling.

Big scam

65m on 30 cars is averagely 2m per car.....

2m on old model cars

They had to buy replacement parts as well.

Then add each cut from one office to the other.

Abi you expect the mechanics and panelbeaters to chop alone?

If he had auctioned off those vehicles to his cronies and bought new vehicles instead, you wouldn't do a thing.

This is hilarious! Very funny!

You saved over 400 million that wasn't spent? No money saved, rather it cost the state 3m to repair cars that had already cost the govt money to buy. This is a term used by marketers and sales people to get people to buy into a product.

While making expenditure, any money you didn't spend is not saved. Saved money in accounting terms is when you get a reimbursement for spent money.

Also, saved money is money set aside to be kept for future use.

But, I get the idea of the story, amongst a wasteful lot, one that repurposes or refurbished should be praised. Well done Sir!

Abegi! #3m to refurbish/overhaul a CAR is crazy!! Take that amount to a good car dealer and you'd get first grade tokunbo car that will serve you beyond the 2 years warranty placed on the refurbished car.
Selling off the cars would have made more sense which will even reduce the #3m needed to buy a tokunbo car. Abi is there a law that says a State govt cannot use tokunbo cars?
