Re u sure of wat u re saying cos it sound like nonsense..

If a company spend 600million yearly on vehicles..
Then somebody somehow found a way to Make the company spend just 65million.dont you the d guy saved the company 535milliin?

Nope he didn't save money for the company. It's a term that has found its way in to our lexicon because of retailers, they use this mind tricks to get you to buy more and feel good.

If you can't read to understand the simple thing I wrote, yes you are right! It is nonsense!

Abegi! #3m to refurbish/overhaul a CAR is crazy!! Take that amount to a good car dealer and you'd get first grade tokunbo car that will serve you beyond the 2 years warranty placed on the refurbished car.
Selling off the cars would have made more sense which will even reduce the #3m needed to buy a tokunbo car. Abi is there a law that says a State govt cannot use tokunbo cars?

Please stop saying these things!

The man is running a savings and loans company.cheesy
The govt of Ondo state is his only client.

You said they did not save any money but you then turn around to praise and commend him for refurbishing and not wasting money.

You are not making sense because you are walking walking all over yourself with your posts.

What is it with you people and sense? Always quick to point out what is senseless, do you have a monopoly of sense? Do you lack the word "disagree" in your vocabulary? Saying you disagree with my comment would have been more appropriate.

I am guessing you didn't get the sarcastic drift in the comment. My apologies for it flying over your head.

If those cars were sold and the gains were added to the 3 million, Elizade or Mandillas will sell them better used cars with manufacturers' warranty.

BTW, one person can have two opinions on the same matter, it is a sign of open mindedness. Life is not black or white.

I'm beginning to like this man, his efforts through manufacturing revolution, prompt payment of salary, infrastructural projects, and this are commendable. I think he is being sincere with the paucity of funds in the state and the country in general. Some governors would have borrowed money to purchase brand new toyota 2019 models, but he chose to refurbish the existing ones. This is commendable.

65m on 30 cars is averagely 2m per car.....

2m on old model cars
Enough to buy Tokunbo of those vehicles. Too expensive.

Why pay millions for dozens of Tokunbo cars with unknown history and origin and without any guaranteed working condition?

It makes more sense to employ local workshops not only to create jobs, but also to work on the cars and guarantee their functionality.

The process and idea of patronizing local workshops to undertake such jobs is building capacity, boosting local knowledge and setting them up for greater challenges.

Leaders of tomorrow, start looking at the bigger picture.

Nigeria be wise how can he save 463m upon reconditioning 30 vehicle. Assuming each of those cars cost 10m in buying new once, it there means 30 cars will cost 300m so i really don't understand this fallacy of 463m.
