Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have arrested pro-democracy activist and the convener of #RevolutionNow Protests, OMOYELE SOWORE

Sowore at around 1:25 am on Saturday, posted a distress tweet notifying the public that DSS invaded his home. He tweeted;

” DSS invades Sowore’s”.

According to an eye witness, after DSS invaded his home, his phone was forcefully taken away from him. This may be evident by the tweet that followed his distress tweet. The tweet seemed incomplete, it read

” Ja p”

The arrest is suspected to be in line with his protests, #RevolutionNow, a series of planned protests against bad governance in Nigeria scheduled for August 5, 2019.

What did he do to you sir? He wants to protest the bad governance we are all seeing and experiencing. What is constitutionally wrong with protest. Didn't some rag tag sokoto boys protest in support of Ruga recently?

Yes, if it is true, that is the best thing Government should have done before he turns to another "Nnamdi Kanu" that turns many innocent youths to become tyrants and constitute nonsense to our societies. He is just selfish and a looser who is hiding under canopy of his lost presidential election to perpetrate evil. If he had won, would he had called for revolution? How many of their previous revolutions even with Charly boy has yielded positive result except turning youths to constitute nonsense to our societies. There are many ways he can support government in power if he is sincere. Ordinary his party finances, he couldn't handle well; for him to join alliance with 'Mogalu' he couldn't just because it wasn't him that was nominated and now he wants to rule the country. For people like you who think joining him for protest is the best you can do, my only advice for you is not to come back to this platform to tell us "you were mistakenly shot on sight by police and you were harmless", nobody will waste " Rip" on useless individual who has choosen to die foolishly as a result of his/her stubborness. Be wise, let those who organise it go and bring all their children schooling abroad to lead the protest and let them burn their foreign-travelling documents in public before you take them serious.

Distract youths from what exactly? If your high IQ did not think that what the DSS did is only making him more popular then stop fooling yourself because your IQ is low.
Now a common sense question, what does this action do to both the reputation of the government and sowore? Do you know that what the DSS did can instigate a series of events capable of toppling this government? Do you even have any idea the things sowore have said against this government and the same DSS, the can of worms he opened.

I have been expecting his arrest for a long time, when he was campaigning but the government were wise not to fall for his trap, they used wisdom to handle him by disgracing him at the polls. But it was only a matter of time before they took the bait.
