most new signings will most times do that. Bigger club, bigger pay the motivation will definitely be high.

New employees are usually more motivated than old employees.
.... True, very true. A few minutes of action against Newcastle won't be bad.

Guys how do you feel about Maguire and Aaron biasaka at utd, with dybala? I was confident we'll finish above them not until now cheesy
Well they may hit or flop, but I feel they've got some deals on point..

Maguire is similar to v.jigk, they are giant and comfortable on the ball, compared to ours who look shaky from their composure sef...

We need a defender of that mould, we can watch Wily boly once more this season, if he does well, he can be as good as v.d &Maguire..

Also Auba needs to bury all chances, even if he has scored hatricks, he should never get fulfilled or tired of scoring..
This new season promises to be a bruising one.
I feel same way too.
Their transfer will be on point if they land all their current targets.

I think it's going to be between us, United and Spurs again.
We need to get the Tierney deal done, ship off Mustafi, sell Koscielny and bring in a CB. Konate Ibrahima of Leipzig is my first choice to partner Sokratis, pending Holding return to full fitness.

It's a good business, and anything short of top4 is sack for Ole G, its gona be tough, ..
We need our forwards to bury chances, no joking or having fun but pure business and fight.

Meanwhile, I don't know why you guys have high hopes for United...

It's not always how strong your squad is, but how tactical your coach is...

Ole is not that coach that can bring out the best out of this united team...

My opinion cool

Sometimes I feel this whole tactics thing is overstated. Sometimes you don't need to more tactical than everyone else. If you've got more quality in your squad, you can usually edge it.

A strong argument for this is the 3 peat Madrid did in the UCL. You couldn't really say Zidane outwitted all his opponents tactically. Sometimes, he was fortunate to have freak events align to favor his team (Karius), sometimes he went dirty (Ramos on Salah, Ramos getting Cuadrado red carded), but there was a common constant through all these... Madrid was always the side with more quality.

Even if you're not too tactically strong, you can usually get by with some quality in your squad. For all his tactical ability, Sarri never won any thing until he got a bit of quality (and met Arsenal grin).

That Madrid team has everything, they can score long range shot, they can dribble thier way in,freekicks, can score headers, can get dirty, can get lucky, fans, referee everything was there for Zidane..

Even pep had to spend over and over before he got to this stage, he met an arguably one of the best squad in England that year at city, baba went trophy less and struggle for top4, when he got in the players he wanted, everything became easy for him.

The pepe we're gloating about is just like a benched Mahrez to Gaurdiola.

Lol, individual brilliance or team quality can only help you when you are playing Cups like UCL...

League is a different thing entirely, there are moments when the whole team is playing badly but all the coach needs is some sort of tactical brilliance to bag the 3 points...

THAT, is where Ole comes short...

Ranieri must be Earth's greatest tactician then...

People like to act like Ole is one complete noob. While he is not on Pep/Klopp level, he actually has 10 years experience coaching and will only get better.

so you mean Sam allardyce or Tony pulis won't win the league with Bayern, juventus or psg?
Bros tactics change game in leagues and competition where the 2 teams have almost the same fire power.
Team brilliance will win cups and league

I was just about to mention this. Tactics is the difference when two teams with similar strength meet. In fact, if used well, an underdog could blow away the favorite with 'good' tactics.

I'm surprised that some people think tactics is somewhat overated. Especially in modern football. If Barca had a tactically sound coach, there is no way Roma or Liverpool would have done that nonsense to them.

In my opinion, if you're not prepared tactically before a match, then you have lost that match already. Gone are the days, managers gather players and tell them to just play.

This is why we would remain where we are today.. If one your so called attackers gets injured now, we are back to Iwobi and co. Abeg lets stuff our team with best players joor. I think it's because we are not used to having top players that's why it seems the ones we already have are enough. Just look at Man city, Liverpool, Bayern etc.. Enough is Enough.

LFC only have sallah, firminho and mane
Just look at their pre season games they struggle to win without these trio bros I think the attack is enough moreover we can't pay coutinho wage and we need defenders

.... On his day, Ceballos is destructive too but between Ozil and him finding that amazing form, my money is on the younger player.

.... Xhaka is very important in our midfield play, the manner in which he spreads play is vital to how Emery wants his team to play. Ceballos will most certainly bring in another style but right now, it's only Guendouzi that can do something similar to Xhaka's role in our current midfield and he is still learning the trade. Yes, I would want a better player in Xhaka's place, but for now, it's not a if for Granit's place in Emery's team, it's certain. Except if Ozil brings his A game like I predicted in game 1 -- 6, if not, once Ceballos is settled, it's straight into the first team.
Form aside, Ozil is the more quality player. But just as you, I'd bet Ceballos to peak ahead of him unless his mentality has changed.

Xhaka's place isn't too secure either, because Ceballos who is a Cazorla type may be needed to pass the ball from deep and get the team outvof tight situations. He may be playing deep, so Xhaka would have to give way unless he ups his game.

Nevertheless, my Joy is the competition this brings.

Low block is for teams fighting even for the minimum point....

All their defense do is hoof it to the target man to spread play... We need ball playing strong Centre backs not the collect from keeper and Hoof over the midfield...

Raul Madness Incoming Btw wink
