The Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN) has condemned the viral video on social media of a queer display of semi-nude women in an outdoor Mobile advertising truck around the Lekki/Ikoyi tollgate this weekend.

According to a statement issued by the association signed by its President, Mr Emmanuel Ajufo that OAAN does not subscribe to the show of shame on the streets of Lagos by ladies dressed in nudity.

The statement reads: ‘’OAAN is a responsible association and our members are disciplined and would not be involved in the unprofessional campaign such as seen in the viral video.

 ‘’In strong terms, we condemned with all sense of sincerity the Indecent Advertising campaign and its content. We as an association do not subscribe to the show of shame on the streets of Lagos by ladies dressed in nudity.

The association said that is fully ready to work with appropriate authorities to ascertain the brain behind of the show of shame.’’

The mobile truck was spotted around Lekki /Ikoyi tollgate this weekend with Lagos State plate number APP713XL.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Signage & Advertisement Agency (LASAA) has said that the full weight of the law, as enshrined in the Agency's extant law, will be meted on the company owning this erring outdoor mobile truck.

LASAA has assured members of the public that the Agency shall henceforth scrutinize activities of mobile trucks to forestall a recurrence of such an avoidable obscenity.

One thing i have noticed about Nigeria is we like copying,but we copy stupidity . Even the so called white people we are copying first coined the word "indecent exposure" .

yes these things are continuously flashed on our screens and actresses pose nude all time and most people watch porn,worse things happen in clubs and ashewo joints, but all this are a matter of choice ,if an actress decides to pose nak3d for the world to see, i can decide to keep scrolling, if a nude scene is flashed on my screen i can decide to pick up the remote and change the channel, i dont know how the inside of an ashewo joint or club looks and not all movies are rated PG 18. Please restrict your thot behaviors to the ashewo joints ,social media accounts and clubs not on our not so good roads we are managing and depraved men will now loose focus.

There is a reason why powerful women dont associate with such behaviors, its ratchet,its classless and its mostly found among dregs of the society, and every society has those set of people ,but you can't dictate to the rest of the society. Soon scenes like this would become a norm in our society. I remember a newspaper article wherein a woman complained of foolish street hawker advertising Viagra for her in the car. Her kids were also with her in the car. You can imagine the trauma of a parent seeing your kids hear such obscene words in your presence. It's disgusting.
