Serious governor who has already hit the ground working. Not like the useless ihedioha still chasing the buffoon called rochas and demolishing his projects. |

9jaRealist:I know ogun state has been helping with taking in the excess population. But it's really just a drop of water in the ocean. More states need to become industrialized so that job seekers migrate and the overall population of the country can be evenly spread out. |

hamid6249:Lol... So is this your state? What if you're deported to your own state or you think it's only Igbos who're have overpopulated us here? Why not stay in your own state and come here only for your business if you have any at all? |

megafaraday:The last administration made them redundant. Allocation was not made for the agency to work on road maintenance |

dhardline:Blatant lies once purported by Dangote...Concrete roads wouldn't last longer than Coal tar roads as long as both have similar strengths. Meanwhile Concrete roads are bloody expensive n isn't worth it. No road in Lagos will last 20 years no matter how strong they are. Roads are built for cars n trucks to run on dem, not for cars n truck to sit on dem |

PrecisionFx:Well I actually disagree with you here. It's on verifiable record that concrete roads actually outlive asphalt roads though as you said 'they are more expensive'. |

dhardline:Kickbacks, that is the reason why such a clause is hardly inserted in these contracts. |

AutoJoshNG:Fixing the pot holes without freeing the drainages is equal to waste of resources as waters will spoil it again and again |

hamid6249:kindly return to your own "city" you are one of the causes of over population here. Cause am 101% certain you were not born and bred here. |

AutoJoshNG:Those workers in the picture are not properly dressed for the job they are doing. The should be wearing PPE safety clothes, overalls, helmets and strong steel toe cap boots. I can't understand why a State Government Agency will allow its workers to dress like this for a job in open weather. Something needs to be done about my observation. Thanks. |

Ambodeeee! He only did "big" things in places where people will see it and say that he is a wroking governor. The real issuses that affected the people were neglected. |

megafaraday:Ambode did not empower them. Ambode is Mr Know it all that believed stealing and chopping govt money is in everything he does not know about. |

dhardline:same question i have been asking. they keep repairing same roads every 4 years. monies that can be better used for more capital projects. we are our greatest problems |

Mirrorlenz: agabusta: twilliamx:Are you sure you live in Lagos? ![]() Ambode completed 2 new asphalt plants for the LSPWC at Badagry and Imota, and increased it’s workforce. PS: And btw, Ambode rebuilt 184 inner city roads (with streetlights/sidewalks) Go look at the expanded/rebuilt road leading to the new Bariga Jetty (that even has a bicycle lane). > |
| Re: Bad Roads: Lagos Intensifies Efforts To Fix Potholes by 9jaRealist: 9:37am On Aug 05, 2019 |
deb:So rebuilding 184 inner city roads throughout all 57 LCDAs does not affect the people? Rebuilding/expanding Ayinke House and the PHCs and building a Critical Care Unit at LASUTH does not? Buying all those cars and equipment for the Police and increasing their death benefits don’t affect people? Putting in place a first-rate Emergency Response Unit, and upgrading/expanding BRT services/routes? Or the Code Lagos and the Ready-Set-Work programs? Or the Employment Trust Fund and Disability Fund? #BourdillonBullionvanBS > |

PrecisionFx:actually, concrete roads can last up to times longer than asphalt. But then considering the cost and our own culture of infrastructure misuse, it's truly not worth it. |

RemiOAjayi:give the people a few months and they could clog the drainage with trash again. |
| Re: Bad Roads: Lagos Intensifies Efforts To Fix Potholes by RemiOAjayi: 8:34am On Aug 07, 2019 |
Bahddo:Then use law to control the people. We must learn to behave civil just the way we would do if we are in London or any developed place in the world |
