I want to go out there and join the protests but my concern is if we in the South East join in this Revolution Now protest, if anything goes wrong the Lagos-Ibadan Press will term it an 'Igbo Revolution' for the next 20 years just like they have done with the coup of 1966 which was led by Major Nzeogwu and Major Ademoyega but still labelled 'Igbo coup' which led to the genocide against Igbos in the North and elsewhere.

Meanwhile, the aim of that 'Igbo coup' was to free Awolowo and make him the Prime Minister.
But Awo betrayed them and accepted the position of Vice Chairman of the ruling council to Gowon just like his son in-law Osinbajo.
Awo went on to advise Gowon to partition the country to weaken the Igbos with the creation of 12 states and also asked Gowon to grant only $20 to every Igbo bank account holder irrespective of the millions they had before the civil war and declared their properties as 'abandoned'

Come to think of it Sowore just like Tinubu is an Awoist, meaning that they promote Awolowo ideology, can we really trust them?

We have already taken some beating and sacrificed the lives of our youths with Python Dance from that vicious man in Aso Rock which they cheered and called us IPOB trying to divide the nation instead of sympathizing with us and condemning the attack on unarmed protesters.
