Nigeria’s biggest problem is the fact that we lack one voice, there is always one group of people in an association that loves the suffering of the masses. No matter how much transparency in governance the good people clamor for be sure to have anti-revolution protesters to counter the cause. This country is a lifeless one in all ramifications.

It is not the same. The problem with the Biafra fight is that it is a struggle for mostly the Igbos. The Igbos are not fighting for the Yorubas or Northerners, as in a better Nigeria but a struggle for emancipation from Nigeria. So the clamour for support is different. However, this struggle is for every Nigerian including the Igbos to have a better life and freedom from the shackles of oppression from corrupt leaders.

The fact remains you do not know there is what is called peaceful and non-violent revolution. Sowore has never called for a violent one but a revolution through non-violent means due to the incompetence of the current government.

I was once part of a student body that made a statement like this after collecting small money from a politician. Today, I find it difficult to forgive myself

We were plenty that shared the money and our leader then is now a politician. We youths deserve our leaders to be honest.

My share from the money wasn't even up to 3k. I bought a Nokia phone of 4.5k that was later discovered to be stolen phone. Na the wuruwuru student body save me from beating then sha.

At least you can not claim to know more than JFK. There is a peaceful revolution and Sowore never called for violence. You can not punish Sowore because of the mass ignorance of lots of Nigerians.

Whether democratically elected or autocratically imposed, the people have right to demand accountability from a government that demands its allegiance. Peaceful protest is the right of every Nigerian as enshrined in the constitution of the Federal Republic so the protest is to call the government to order in the face of all the political and economical confusion we're currently faced with or they should step down if they have nothing to offer.

Even though i don't support this APC-led federal government.
It's only fools who will go out for this foolish protest. Sowore wants to use this protest to gain the sympathy of the Nigerian government in order to be recognize for a political appointment in the federal or state level.

You have spoken well. It's there in the Constitution for peaceful / non violence protest which I am 100% in support. But Sowore never asked for protest instead he asked for revolution which means toppling the government. Don't you know the government took the advantage of the word revolution from Sowore.

Sowore would not have been arrested if he has called for a protest not revolution.
Protest and revolution are different words with different meaning
Not even US government will tolerate a citizen that wants to topple him
