Specialised tests may include DNA testing of blood and or urine (urine later and less accurate hen done too early)
I have never seen it done

Not sure about blood test but there is a special test done to determine the baby’s blood type and even when the test is done at 2 to 3 months, they can tell you the sex of the baby. This is the test where they take a sample of the amniotic fluid. Am talking from the side of a mother though and not a doctor so pardon me if I am not 100% correct...
