Chai! Just look at Koscienly.

How disrespectful can one be? Imagine his unveiling video. You put on an arsenal jersey at Boudreau and at the countdown you pull it off to reveal Boudreau jersey worn underneath. angry

This guy didn't even join barca, Madrid, man utd, bayern or any other big club ó......Somebody now say thunder should leave him alone.

And to think he was our captain ó.
quick question
I have been thinking about this for a long time, can you rate these modern players as club legends from CR7,neymar,hazard,Kos,Ramsey et Al
I think these modern guys are just mecenary that jump from one club to another, they don't want to suffer and enjoy with the club

Spurs are chokers no matter what and they might lose eriksen, moreover pochettino may not be able to keep them dybala use to start, coutinho want to start, son is fans favourite, Kane no matter is a sure banker, eriksen if he stays is sure, moura is becoming a favourite, lamela is improving too.
See bros I no wan talk about that stadium ISH again because wengay fed us lies we can't compete because we built stadium
Spurs stadium is more expensive than ours yet they are competing.
Look at the amount and number of dead woods we want out of arsenal yet people think I'm hating on that miserable old man

CR7 is a legend at Madrid no doubt.
Hazard is a legend at Chelsea.
I leave barca fans to decide what Neymar is to them...Barca have many legends but the most recent ones are Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Ronaldinho, Puyol...that I can remember ó

As for Ramsey, the dearth of good players/inspiring leaders at the emritaes is the only reason one can even consider him for consideration as a great player.

For me I beleive to be a legend it's not about spending Ur whole career at the club but winning trophies at the club, bringing a positive attitude to the club, having so much respect for the club and fans while there and after leaving and having great memories at the club.

Nope, to me, I won't call Rosicky an arsenal legend, no matter how much we or the fans love him.

Cr7....legend for both man u and Madrid. But more of Madrid legend
Neymar...no, he killed his would-be barca legendary status himself
Koscienly... With his acrimonious exit, I won't call him one
Ramsey...in the fence over him. His fa winning cup goals. But I might not call him one
Hazard... Definitely one if Chelsea fan would admit.

If we fail to get a cb this summer window. I feel we should have a cb pairing of sok-chambers till holding gets fit. I just hope I don't see mustafi dat place.
Also, I wish emery should draft iwobi back to midfield and also promote willock to senior team squad. So that pepe Nelson can alternate the wings.
What do you guys think of a 442 formation, according to our personnel on ground?

Liverpool play their full backs at very high line...

It's not a bad tactics when you have guys like Wijnaldum, Fabinho and Milner all waiting in the middle to stop counters...

But when you have liabilities like Xhaka or a not too good DM like Torreira shielding the defense when the Full backs are overlapping...

You are asking for trouble...

I hope we do something about this by next year...

Our goals conceding is mainly because of the full backs and Midfield... Not the center backs...

If you bring out Mustafi's stats, you would see that he outshines VVD...

does that makes him better?? NO!!

VVD doesn't need to do much because his midfielders are all workaholics in shielding the defense...

While our defenders here have to always be involved in defensive duties due to insane pressure from opposition attackers...

You'll now see something like

Tackles:

Mustafi: 72

VVD: 43

The main problem is from the midfield and full backs...

And no Pacy wingers to counter in case the opposition starts dominating through the wings...

Van Djik does more than much. His positioning is always right. That alone makes him better than mustafi. I've watched clips of how he adjust his body and shadow marks the opposing player to ensure they don't get a clear shit at the keeper.

E get reason why nobody dribble that guy for a long time until Gabriel Jesus did this past Sunday.

Make we buy better CB and stop talking about RB and LB making a team having so much attacking threat Jàre. You don't need to have the best RB, LB in the world in your team before you win the league.

Leicester won the league, yet the best RB and LB were Arsenal and Tottenham players ( Bellerin and Rose)....but guess what? A CB in Wes Morgan was the best CB in the league.

This is the truth, it is even more lovely you didn't jump on bandwagon of Torreira and Mustafi..
That Liverpool midfield trio are runners, they track you down and defend from the front, they run for 90+ minutes, ours stroll, jug and walk all day, unfortunately, our fans see running as activity forming or headless chicken..

When you rely on fullbacks for creativity, you are done, ozil, mhicky only do well againsy teams that gives us space to operate or go less physical against us, against hard English side, they will side/back pass or try to walk the ball in the net and that calms opposition defense..

There's energy and pace everywhere at Liverpool, even Old Milner will run and bully our middle.

If we can get coutinho, Our attack is solved for the next 5/6 years, we can be chilling in transfer markets and only focus on young talents in and outside the club.

Auba, Pepe, Nelson, Martinelli, Iwobi and even Micky can man our wings this season. The last two should be drafted more to the middle to slug it out with Ozil and Ceballos for creativity.

I wish we got enough to land Everton Soares.

Selling clubs are hating on us. See Zaha to Everton for less than 60m, now RB Leipzig wants to sell and unknown quantity CB for over 70m just because Arsenal ask.

lolzz... It's an opinion sha. That's why I said I'm on the fence over him (primarily cos of his two fa cup winning goals). Take away those two goals and you'll have a largely inconsistent Ramsey. The only Ramsey we enjoyed was Ramsey of ozil debut season, and even that Ramsey have to go on an injury half-way through the season. To me, a legend is one who is consistent over the years, with being injury-free (most of his career in d club) and popping in one-_two important and crucial goals. He must also be a mainstay in the team, and must be a player whom other players can look up to( either defence, midfield or attack. Even goal keeping). Now sincerely tell me, did Ramsey fit almost all these criteria?
To be sincere, to be a legend no easy o. It isn't something you just give out like that, cos of one or Two performances. So I don't feel it's something one can just give out like that.
Tho like I said, it's my personal opinion sha

Well I feel as a top club in EPL, plus the cash EPL generate, other club must want to milk from us. If Everton is going for that same guy, I feel it won't be that amount they quoted. We put ourselves in such a situation by dragging it towards the deadline day. All selling clubs, knowing the situation at hand must quote unnecessary price...lol

In as much as what you say is true, but having mustafi at the back is a ticking time bomb. Bring the stats all you want but mustafi failing to track a runner behind leading to goal won't count as error leading to goal, a mustafi fouling a striker cos of unnecessary sliding won't count as error leading to goal. A mustafi that can get 42 clearances, and when to clear the 43rd one, he slips and fall...and we'll be on a back foot.
He switches off completely most times, that I feel our defenders we'll be wary cos of unnecessary mistake that might just happen. We lack defensive leaders at the back (aside papa and maybe Monreal), he's the next in line, and wen such as your leader, who'll be there to caution him wen things go wrong. Me I'm not saying he's that bad o... But I just feel he shouldn't be a starter, no matter the good fullbacks, wingers and good DM we parade, the switching off must still show up. Before the Liverpool final with Madrid, karius have been making that mistake, made in the final, but ofcourse, nobody took it serious (check Roma second leg or first leg. There's also a premier league match he did such also), till it hurts them so bad. That's what I'm afraid of. Squad player at least, but not a starter.

My post wasn't to defend Mustafi oo angry angry

Just wanted to point out that it's not from center backs all the problem is from...

Our defenders are usually under pressure in almost all games...

With that kind of pressure, even Upamecano and VVD will concede a lot...

No, I wouldn't want us to sell him. But 30m for iwobi is even an insult on the player, in this present mkt. Not after they just bought Keane for 30m. That's what I'm basically trying to pass across. There's a way someone will price something, which you originally don't want to sell, but the kinda price the person will call will mk you be like "wtf", are you nuts?
Even if we no wan sell am, let them bring us bids that will mk us think twice. Not bids as if we're looking to offload iwobi

The first criteria for legendary status is loyalty, which is the most scarce commodity today. Ramsey's loyalty for the club was never in doubt. Despite years of fan abuse and beration, he preserved his love for the club till he left. Little wonder why he was celebrated. What determines legendary status is fan's appreciation. If a player leaves and doesn't get a memorial, he is no legend. But if a player gets a memorial, even if he is otu, he is a legend.
