Appreciation makes a way for more great blessings to be accessible to you and lack of profound appreciation is no life at all.

Sequel to the above statement; Ali Baba is an outstanding son of Niger Delta and a compatriot son of the land who smells his coffee and goes to be a top notch in the entertainment industry. For a Governor to send a powerful felicitation messages upon your presidential award, the implications is that you are very dear to him and have bring yourself to be humbled before him and as such you are going far that you even imagine.

I have never seen Ali Baba as a real man. I have always seen him as someone who needs appointments and recognition from the govt just like every other person.

Else, he should have turned them down to show his dissatisfaction about the governance. Accepting anything from the govt says that hes satisfied. I remember when Soyinka and Achebe turned down a national honor..Younger generation can't change anything in Nigeria. Always hungry! Except for a few.

Nigeria might not worth dying for, but I believe with a collective nail-showing by people who have their tooth can go a long way in reshaping things.

Is this how things will continue? What do I know.. Soyinka has called youths as "first to comment" set of people lol.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta on Wednesday congratulated comedian, Atunyota Akporobomerere, aka, Alibaba, on his Presidential Award of Excellence at the second National Micro Small and Medium Enterprise Awards.

News Agency of Nigeria recalls that the award ceremony was hosted by Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, at the Banquet Hall, Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

Okowa’s felicitation was conveyed in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Olisa Ifeajika in Asaba.

The governor described the comedian, popularly known as Alibaba, as a quintessential comedian whose contributions to the development of entertainment industry in Nigeria would remain indelible.

He lauded the humour merchant for his outstanding patriotism, humility, mentorship, support for budding talents and as a good ambasador of Delta.

As a state, we are particularly proud of your numerous ‘firsts’ – first Nigerian comedian to perform on commercial flights, first to entertain over 40 heads of governments, first comedian to ring the closing bell of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

You are also first comedian on CNN, BBC and Al Jazeera, first to be inaugurated into the Johnnie Walker Hall of fame and first to stage a 6-hour stand-up comedy performance, among many other laudable accomplishments,” Okowa said.

He thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for finding an eminent son of Delta, AliBaba, worthy of the honour.

What are the yearnings of your people? FG should allow your people free drugs trafficking to any party of the world without searching them at pour airports here? Free access to the national treasury so that your people can but more private jets without having any source of livelihood? FG should aloow your people to go about their inherited generational trades of armed robbery, kidnapping and human trafficking without arresting them?
